I am 13 years old and I weigh 61 pounds and my height is 5"1. Am I too fat?

NO.NO.NO. You are perfect and you can continue to be perfect by eating small healthy meals throughout the day and stay away from fast food and chips and sweets. Eat all the veggies, fruit, whole grain cereal with lowfat milk and cottage cheese and yogurt..no aspertane. Lots of water and no soda. Make sure you get protein, peanut butter, nuts, grilled or broiled or baked chicken. You need lean beef for iron and B12...for health because you have periods or you will soon. As long as you eat these healthy foods as much as in their natural state as possible, you will be full, growing strong and be healthy and not fat. Don't forget to play, run and do some sports or walking to stay strong. Worry about healthy and not fat...that is more important. A growing human being requires vitamins, minerals and good fats like olive oil, oil from nuts, calcium from milk and dairy. It can be lowfat and in small portions but, you need to eat it and be healthy. OK? Good night baby girl. A potato now and then, baked and not a lot of white bread, use whole grain bread for fibre and nutrition. White bread has very little value as a food. I eat it on a sandwich now and then. Take a multi vitamin and mineral suppliment every day too. Ask mom to get you some. Good night again.

That is dangerously underweight. Go and see your doctor, you seriously need help if you have to ask whether you are fat or not....good grief! If your body fat drops too low, then you are asking for problems, do you want to see your 14th birthday or not? Yes, well go and see a doctor NOW! Take care : )

Hey this is Shelli and no you are not even close. You are actually under weight. You should wieght at least 113 to 116. So no you are not over weight. You are way under weight.

DAMN! My 9 year old weighs 84 and he is at a NORMAL weight! You are grossly underweight! Eat a sandwich!

no not at all you are on the slim side of the line. if you look at a BMI chart (Body Mass Index) you will see that you are not fat or overweight.

no your not fat your in good shape all you have to do in order to lose weight is exercise and eat right. or join up at a local YMCA health club.
