I've had a couple opinions, but I'd like some more.

A girl has been saying hi to me often, every time that she sees me.
Her friends come up to me and ask me a couple of questions, and they occasionally ask me if they wanna work on hw together.

im not lookin for the relationship, but i dont like being a joke

She hasn't said much more than hi

But it gets weird, she'd say hi and just leave to talk to others, and say hi again 5 minutes later and leave.

I agree with xovenusxo.

The girl is trying to let you know she likes you. She's probably been brought up to believe it's wrong and 'cheap' for a girl to approach a guy.

If you don't want a relationship with her continue to keep your distance. (This depends on how old you both are..I'm assuming you're both young teenagers.)

That's because she must be very shy and her friends are trying to set you up with her for her. If you don't want to date her just calmly tell you friends you aren't interested in dating their friend. And if they say otherwise say they can't force you to like her. or just take the easy way out and rpetend they don't exist

Sounds to me like she's teasing you. I think she wants you to make the next move. Just be friends, theres nothing wrong with that, and that way you're not committed to anything.

She likes you and is shy and is making her friends try to get some contact with you for her

she is very immature, and has no idea how to get in a relationship with you. she is just inexperienced and immature, but she likes you and wants to be with you i believe.
