I know he had a will as he called me a told me he was making his out but when he died she would not let me know what was in the will. Now she has passed on and her son will not talk to me. so how do I find out what my father wanted?

If your dad had a lawyer draw up the will, then get a copy from him, if you don't know then go to the court house and start in the 'Clerk of Courts" office, it would have to be filed here and it would be public record (open to anyone).
If you can find this will and your name is in it, you have something to get a lawyer for and to fight the estate and the son for your share. If not, everything goes to the spouse (in some states only) and she can give it to whoever she wants to.
Sooooo look for the will! Good luck, hope it ends up in our favor.

You need to locate the attorney that prepared your father's Will, that is, if he used an attorney. He may have had a hand-written Will. Your other resource is to hire a private detective. They can be expensive. If there is a University in your city, find out if the they have a Criminal Justice Department. Perhaps you can find a professor at the school, that can guide you on what to do and how.

Do you know who the attorney is that wrote the will? You should see an attorney about this because the will had to be filed in a court when your father died, in order for anyone to inherit anything.

They have to let you know if anything in the will concerns you. There has to be somebody who knows the contents of the will like a lawyer or something. Try to find out.

Call his lawyer. If there was anything in his will regarding you, then his lawyer/executer would have contacted you because you would have had to have been present at the reading of the will.
