My boss has a girlfriend but constantly tells me that he is not into her anymore- the sex life isn't good, on and on- and has approached me with the prospect of sleeping with him. I've never cheated on anyone before (I'm single)- but is this considered cheating? And has anyone else out there ever been in this situation - what are the consequences?? Any advice would be helpful...
also, would this- by any means- be considered sexual harrassment?? Someone brought that to my attention but I don't really see the connection...

he tells you he is not into her just to have sex with you, that way he will be having sex with 2 girls. yea that would be cheating. he will tell you anything pretty much. he will probably even tell you tomorrow that he broke up with his girlfriend just to sleep with you. but that won't be true. and no it is not sexual harrasment. it is only harrasment if he touches you inappropriately without your consent.

cheating? Yes, he's asking you to sleep with him.

sexual harassment? Yes, since he approached you with the prospect of sleeping with him. This = harassment "tells me that he is not into her anymore- the sex life isn't good, on and on- and has approached me with the prospect of sleeping with him"

1) Sexual Harassment!!
2) NEVER sleep with your boss. You can't win in this battle either way.
3) I doubt whether his girl friend is even aware that there are problems in the relationship.

if you feel comfortable with it go for it

if not dont go for it

your boss has big brass c2jones to hit on you hopefuly he is dong it in way that isnt imposing on you .

my guess is if you had to ask if this was sexual harrassment it isnt you would know beyond a shadow of doubt if it was .It is one of those gray areas if he doesnt handle it properly could very well lead to sexaul harrassment .It all comes down to if you feel pressured , manipulated or intimadated .

In the 40's thru the early 60's it was not unheard of for a boss to marry one of his employee's .

Then theres the separate issue of cheating thats a whole nother can of worms .

YES, it is cheating, sexual-harassment, and VERY inappropriate. He is in a superior position. Very wrong. Don't forget, too, that he still has a girlfriend. How do you think she'd feel?

i would say that yeah it is cheating because he hasent ended things w/ his girlfriend and hes having affairs. (or is planning to). some consequences would be getting fired if things get too hott and heavy. and no its not considered sexual harassment unless he rapes you and you dont want any sex w/ him.

Call it what you like, but DON'T GIVE IN.
I did it once and his loose tongue forced me to resign in a week. My resolution: Never again with any workmate.
Business and pleasure won't mix well.

It is sexual harassment, and do you honestly think that if he is doing this to his girlfriend now, that he wouldn't do it to you?
