Use McCormick Montreal Steak Seasoning. There is a recipe to marinade the steak on the seasoning bottle. The marinade will taste great if you add some fresh-pressed garlic (however much you want).
BBQ the steak on a charcoal BBQ once the coals turn white for about 7 mins each side (or to your desired done-ness). Be sure to put on the lid and open the vent in the lid.

Rub both sides of the steak with seasoned salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and paprika. Heat some oil in an iron skillet. Sear steak on one side until it's nicely browned. Turn on other side and cook until medium rare. Serve with A1 or other favorite steak sauce or just a pat of butter or compound butter (butter with added flavorings, like herbs, cheese, roasted vegetables, etc.) and a sprinkling of chopped parsley. Happy cooking!

I marinade mine overnight with: teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, beer, lemon, worchestire? sauce, and a pinch of BBQ sauce. No spices needed. Cooking it on the grill is the best but in the oven for about 3 hours is good too. I have been told that this is the tenderist steak people have ever tasted. Try some meat with that marinade and I promise it will melt in your mouth.

1) Season with salt and pepper
2) On very hot THICK cast iron frying pan with penut oil, sear 2 to 3 minutes each side
3) Place in toaster oven 425 degrees both sides 4 minutes each
4) Take it out of oven and let it rest for 5 minutes
The idea is, quickly sear the meat in very hot pan so the juice will stay in, and continue cooking in the oven for the desired temperature. (rare, midium, well)
It is very important to let it rest for 5 minutes at step (4). Otherwise, as soon as you cut into the steak, the juice will all run out. Resting allows it to be re-absorbed into the meat, so you can eat it with the meat. My timing will result in medium rare. You can adjust the time in oven to your liking.

Aside from someone else cooking it for you? Ok, just kidding. I prefer mine slightly seasoned with either some minced garlic and butter or with Red Robin's seasoning or with some bbq sauce ontop and placed under the broiler until medium well.

Grilling is second to none. If you choose marinade in your favorite marinade for 6 hours then for mid-rare (prefered) over hot coals 6 - 7minutres per side.
