Is this the reason many don't seem to care about radio active nuclear waste? Because these are the end of days.

As long as people continue thinking that these are "The end of days" and other similar nonsense, problems of the world such as nuclear waste will never be dealt with. Its not the end of days that's why we have to start taking responsibility for ourselves. Plus they have been calling it the end of days for hundreds of years. Its a big steaming heap of nutty brown BS served on a silver platter.

Many of the 12 Apostles thought the 'end of days' would happen in their life time. So the clock started a long time ago.

Humans were taught that man could do anything with the Earth that they wanted because we are the dominant people.

This began with the idea of a Biblical End of the world by piecing together different prophecies like the book of Daniel and Revelation in the late 1800's by some self taught preacher I can't remember the name off.

Everyone thought the world was going to end in 1000 A.D. That is why there is not many peices af great architecture in Europe then. I think they believed the world was going to end in 100 A.D. also. No need to worry about nuclear waste.... these are the last days ; )

Early Christians took Christ's words about returning to be in their lifetime. So it's been the end of days for a long, long time. Add to the fact that no one will know when the end is to come. Historically Christians have looked for signs to try to figure the puzzle out of when the end will be.

According to the bible we have been living in the last days for 2,000 years. Hebrews 1:1, 2,- God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in the time past unto the father by the prophets, (2)Hath in THESE LAST DAYS spoken unto us by his Son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds.

Even john said in Revelation 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ which God gave unto him to shew unto his servants the things which must SHORTLYcome to pass.

So people have believed for over 2,000 years that we have been living in the last days.
