The last days points to the final days of the end-times.
It will be very difficult to live at that time. And many will cry out to God, and He will hear. When People ask for the strength of the Spirit, it shall be poured out.

Ask and ye shall receive. Knock and it shall be opened to you.
The Holy Spirit will be poured out when believers ask for Him.

He already is pouring out his spirit, most people just don't recognize it. There is missionary work going on all over the earth right now, new things being learned about everything, including science. People just need to recognize the spirit when they feel it.

These are the last days. There are prophecies that are being fulfilled as we speak. The revival is already happening. I don't call it that, but it is happening. The world right now is the worst it has ever been, there is so much evil right now in the world and people aren't willing to believe in things like religion or faith. They think that they are all that matters and no matter what they do, it won't effect them later. People are more intersted in themselves and doing what they want then listening when people tell them that the end is near. It's just like in the days of Sodom and Gamorah. The people are doing everything they shouldn't and won't listen when they should. We need people to stand up for what they believe and have faith in a greater power then themselves.

Sorry to get on my soapbox. I'm just sick of everyone saying that we are wrong for believing in scripture, or having faith in something we can't see. It will just get worse until the end comes. Then we will see who stands up for what they believe.

You are almost 2000 years too late...

Ac 2:16 No, what you see this morning was predicted centuries ago by the prophet Joel: 17 ‘In the last days, God said, I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams. 18 In those days I will pour out my Spirit upon all my servants, men and women alike, and they will prophesy.

Peter clearly said this was fulfilled at Pentecost.

Not to be obnoxious, but what makes you think that we're in the "end times" right now? They've been predicting them ever since Jesus lived, and they've never come. It's been two thousand years and the world has been through much, much worse times than this. Why now? Why 2006?

He is already pouring out His Spirit. Your sons and daughters shall prophesy.

only God knows when He will return and when the world would end. and yes, knowing the end was near would probably get many people closer to Christ for their fearness of death.

Why are you so eager to die?

I find this kind of thinking really sad. It really explains all the "Branch Davidian" and "Jonestown Massacre" events.
