the ignition switch is on the column, the key switch is in the column below the steering wheel

if you cant change the speedo cable then maybe your starting to big, its easy to do

i own a repair shop and the actual key switch part of it that's in the column is kind of hard to change ,the speedometer cable isn't hard to do at all on it,you can get a cable kit from advance auto parts that will help you repair the speedometer cable ,as for the switch do you need the key part changed or the actual starting switch ,,because it mounts down on the bottom of the steering column and you don't have to remove the steering wheel to do it,but if your having key problems and have to pull the wheel off ,you need to be care full ,and watch how you take it off,and mark it before you remove it so you get it back on strait other wise it will have the steering wheel not strait on it,its pretty good little job,but if you have the right tools you can do it,you need a wheel puller to do it with though,,on the other part of the switch ,just a small socket will do it,good luck,i hope this will help you.
