I have been thinking about getting a new car and I want it to be a nice car that isn't too flashy. How does the Murano sound? I just want personal opinions.

I think it looks reaggy sharky and stunning but as a technical person i would not suggest this one for a day to day. it would have been much better if the car was available with CRDI engine . but if you really want a car for styling pupose only than, this is the edge of anything compared to murano. shes a beauty

I have owned a Mazda 3, and I now have a Nissan Rogue, which is much more comfortable. Contrary to what others have written, it's built off of the Altima platform, which is known to have a smooth ride. Also, I don't think they're cheap looking at all. I have a fully loaded one, and I would have paid 15k more to get the same options in a Murano. The Murano has relatively poor gas mileage, and I've heard a few people say that their auto insurance went up after getting one. That being said, the Murano has a more powerful engine and more cargo space.

I like virtually everything about the Murano except the front grille! It is a good looking MPV, but the fact that it came with a 3.5l petrol engine and tiptronic gearbox put me off it (too expensive to run). The tiptronic gearbox also doesn't give much torque for towing. I bought a 2.5l Navara Adventura instead.
Other vehicles similar to the Murano are the VW Touareg and the Lexus RX, both of which are more expensive. I personally preferred the styling of the VW, but it was too expensive.

It is the Nissan X-Trail that you should go for
The Murano is the petrol version of the Xtrail engine
The XTrail is superior to the Murano in terms of sound, price and style

Murano is a great car but a little pricey. They really hold the value.

For that kind of money you might consider the new Acura RDX. You'll get a lot more extras. If you want to spend another $4,000 you can have the amazing technology package.

I love it. I think it looks very sharp, maybe dignified? not to overstated..

We were looking at them, but they're kind of pricey for us. They come with some pretty cool features too.
