There should be some that have sugarless treats in them. I have made my own gift baskets in the past that have fruit, nuts and snack items like cheese, sausage, and sugar-free candies. I have several relatives who are diabetic. Most all the major food catalog companies that send out their gift books have a section on diabetic foods, such as Figi's, Swiss Colony, etc.

Send her something with creams and lotions, candles, etc. like from the body shop or bath and body works instead of a food/sweets basket. just an alternative.

make a special basket for her....fill it up with [all sugar free items]
candy, gum, cookies, pretzels, crystal lite ice tea [flavored] and other goodies..
the following stores has these items...
longs drugs, walgreens, k mart, target, trader joe's. albertsons, safeway.....
