I like this guy in my class now, although i never noticed him before, but he kept giving me compliments. We sit together all the time and he introduced me to some of his friends, well, last weekend he asked me to see a movie with him. Because we stay in different counties, I had to stay at his place. When it was time to go to sleep, he asked me if I wanted to sleep on the couch or in his room - I don't know if that's a good sign or not? (I'd think he would automatically want me to sleep in his room- of course we didnt do anything)

He's interested, alright, and I think he was being very cordial and considerate to ask your preference to sleep on the couch or in his room. That's a good sign.

He was hoping you would choose his room.

I'd like to add that a true gentleman would give you the bed and sleep on the couch himself. And make you pancakes in the morning.

Sounds to me like he's interested, but wants to be respectful and not scare you off by moving faster than you want to.
