yes cut it and rub it on your face or anywhere else on the body. It is a skin healer. It is very good for skin. I have used it on my face and it makes it cleaner and softer. It is a good remedy for a troubled skin. Aloe vera plant extract is better than the artifical, commercial creams. It has no side effects, you can use it whenever you like. It cures all the skin problems.

I have one planted on the side of my house and I just cut a stem off of one and peel the skin and rub it on my skin. Just be sure to buy good vitamins for the plant and keep it well maintained.

Cut off a plump leaf and then slice it and splay it open to smear on skin. Excellent for burns, including sun burns and you can use it for a facial. It is an astringent so best for oily skin. Put on a clean face, wait 15 minutes, rinse off and then moisturize. I have eaten it and drank some and it's disgusting, skip it.

cut a stalk off and squeeze the clear goo stuff out and rub it into your skin.
its great for skin irritations - burns, scaliness, etc.
I think it acts as a bit of an astringent, so it might dry your skin slightly - which in the case of blemishes is a good thing.

You can just cut it and use it on your skin. My mom used to make me put it on my face then rinse with a warm washcloth and it helps smooth and moisturize.

it's good for the skin. but more importantly people keep them around because if you burn yourself. yes, you can break or cut off a piece and rub it on the burn and it will stop hurting almost emmediatly.
