It wouldn't make sense for Jesus to tell us to go tell an invisible Church something.

Matthew Chapter 18

15 "If your brother sins (against you), go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have won over your brother.

16 If he does not listen, take one or two others along with you, so that 'every fact may be established on the testimony of two or three witnesses.'

17 If he refuses to listen to them, TELL THE CHURCH. If he refuses to listen even to the church, then treat him as you would a Gentile or a tax collector.

18 Amen, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

The Church is the supernatural institution founded by Jesus Christ and established by the apostles through the inspiration and guidance of the Holy Spirit, for the purpose of guding all men to truth and salvation in Christ.

Jesus founded only one church, the Catholic Church, which he still leads today, and he gave power and authority to only one church, the Catholic Church, which is answerable to no mortal man, and only to God.

Those who attempt to justify their flawed positions based on the supposed misdeeds of God's true church will have to someday justify their calumny in front of Christ himself.

It was the church Jesus founded that shed its' blood so that the Roman empire could be converted, and later, went on to convert the rest of the world, at no slight cost.

That same church was the only church in existence for the first 1500 years of Christianity, and the Catholic church remains the only church which Jesus promised to guide and keep until the end of the age.

No exceptions. No qualifications.

When God promises, he delivers.

This critics who showed up 1500 years late, after all the most difficult and important work had already been accomplished, have no idea what they are talking about, because in spite of the all too human flaws of those who rule or belong to it, God's one, true church, remains holy, catholic, and apostolic because Jesus makes it so.

The word translated "church" in the passage is ekklesias. It is synonymous with synagogue, in fact, James uses "synagogue" when he is clearly speaking of a Christian assembly.
In any event, it is PEOPLE, NOT A BUILDING OR SOME ESTABLISHMENT. Your question does not make sense, in what way is this group of people "invisible?"

The catholic "church" ceased to be the TRUE CHURCH when they forsook TRUTH for pagan lies. Most everything they do violates scripture, but they claim that the church has the right to change or set aside scripture, a right no human was ever given.

Luther intended to bring catholics back to the truth. He insisted that no person ever call themselves "Lutheran" but was ignored in that point after his death.

Jesus did not come to create a mostly pagan broken former church. He did not come to create a bunch of denominations. BOTH ARE WRONG!

Christians should be just that, CHRISTIANS. They should follow SCRIPTURE, NOT HUMAN TRADITION.

The Bible teaches of Bodies celestial and terrestrial ( spirit and flesh) the same is true of the Church. The Church is a group of like minded believers, Jesus is coming for those who worship in spirit and truth. Trust me there will be a lot of Church going people in hell.

Is the Catholic Church the church God describes in the Bible? I would think not, and here is a few reasons:




Let me talk about Catholic tradition...
Catholics worship Mary. The Bible says to worship God and God alone. Catholics believe in pergatory. The concept of pergatory isn't found in the Bible. Catholics believe in Co-redemptrix. Jesus was the only Savior, this is what the Bible tells us.

Matthew 15:3-7
"3 Jesus replied, "And why do you break the command of God for the sake of your tradition? 4 For God said, 'Honor your father and mother' [a] and 'Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death.' [b] 5 But you say that if anyone declares that what might have been used to help their father or mother is 'devoted to God,' 6 they are not to 'honor their father or mother' with it. Thus you nullify the word of God for the sake of your tradition. 7 You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you:"

Here Jesus says breaking God's laws for tradition is WRONG. Mark 7:5-9, 13 also talks about this. But wait, if Catholics are so into tradition, why did they at one time BURN and OUTLAW the Bible???

How about the Catholic "Sin of Presumption"??
1John 5:13
"13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life."

Wait, the Bible says that you may KNOW that you have eternal life? This is another Catholic tradition that has overridden God's Word.


The Catholic Bible is FALSE. The Holy Bible is COMPLETE. It says so. It did not need to be added to or taken away (Revelation 22:18-19).

Does this sound like the church Jesus was talking about?

Why does any one believe anything? Why do you believe in things that others don't believe in? Do you think questioning other faith makes you look better in the eyes of the lord, or worse? Did Jesus tell us to fight amongst ourselves, ask stupid exclusionary questions, and quarrel about his teachings?

It was wrong for protestantism to even exist. One man, Luther, started it by revolting against the Only Christian church of the time. The Catholic Church. since then and because of him their is now a lot of christian disunity. Thanks for screwing things up luther...you idiot.
