He had to die for our sins, He had to play out His destiny.

Because it was God's will and Jesus was God's Beloved Son and He gave the sacrifice of the pure Lamb, Jesus, to the world so that we may again return to heaven and live with our Father in Heaven. Jesus knew that is what He was put on this earth for and He obeyed His Father's wishes. What a wonderful Son!!

You are saying that Jesus is a weenie because He gave His life for YOU, a sinner!! You should be thanking Jesus that He would die for all of mankind, instead of calling him names.

The men and women of the military are giving their lifes for you to be able to sit there and say rotten things about Jesus. Are you calling them weenies, too???

He fought where it counts. He literally beat and physically tossed the men out of his Father's house: the synagogue, because they were defiling it. So he had the man-power.

He could have called all the powers of earth and heaven to rise up and swallow Rome for daring to crucify him, but he decided not to. So, he had the God-power he just restrained himself.

To have a power and decide not to use it is one of the greatest ways to show how strong you are.

Yeah, I'd like to see if you were "weenie" enough to be falsely accused and crucified without fighting for your life.

It's hard to fight back when your hands and feet are nailed into wood. I don't know though. I've never been crucified.

Of course, if he really WAS the son of God, he should have just made the Romans' heads blow up with his mind and levitated right off that cross. Silly Jesus.

He did. He went into a temple where people were selling stuff and lending money and turned over the tables and yelled at them to get out of his temple.

Matthew 21:12
12Jesus entered the temple area and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves.

He knew what his purpose was on earth and that was to suffer through the atonement and to give his life for us. It's not like he went looking for his persecutors though.
