God eternally exists, so there had been or there will be no time of nothingness within and without the universe.
Billions of stars exist, but they have no rational sense to ask questions. They are dead.
Man has rational sense, so he can ask questions and seek for answers. He lives.
When he gets answers from man, he lives like children of man.
When he gets answers from God, he lives like children of God.
