If you consider winning souls the main goal for the gospel, then according to christian theology, in the end, God loses by soul count, right?

Also, wouldn't he be a sore loser by eternally torementing (according to mainstream theology) the souls that did not convert?

For the unbelievers who have answered. I wanted to see just how it feels to ask such a question to the so called Christians here on Y!A. I apologize to you all for slightly misleading you all into thinking I am not a Christian. I also apologize for the lack of compassion my fellow (supposed) Christian brothers and sisters constantly put on display for you all to see, however it is amazing to see the true colors come out from the hearts of the Christians here when a question such as this one is presented.

For the Christians here, your heart is as a open sepulcher that stinks to heaven with the most vile odor of PRIDE. Your self-righteousness is one of the works that is brought to the surface with the answers you gave me. It is YOU that need to ask for forgiveness and that God cleanse your heart so that others might see the love of God through your works.

This was intended to be a theological question.

The God you are talking about is pure fiction so it doesn't matter.

First of all, the main goal is Christ in us the hope of glory! Christ is the main reason for all that we do and say as Christians. Yet you are looking at God in a humanistic mindset and false teachings. God is not bothered by you calling him a loser. However every idle word spoken and written will be answered for in the day when God in Christ visits his people. You included, your defence in that day will be destroyed - for you will see him as he is - and then you will wail and gnash your teeth because of him.

HOWEVER -

even now that can be changed, repent of your sins, confess that you accept Him as your savior the one who died for you to redeem you from your sins, who even now is standing at the right hand of the Father pleading for your soul. Hear, listen and turn from your evil ways and he will hear, call out to him while he may be found. For one day soon and very soon it will be too late.

I guess if you go by numbers then yeah.

But somehow I think it's not about numbers.

It's about hearts.

God wins because Satan will be punished for his wrongs.

Eternally tormenting souls that did not "convert" is not God being a sore loser, it's justice.

Honestly, all souls should burn in hell, that what is deserved.

By God's grace not all will, PRAISE HIM!, but if a person doesn't want God, He won't force Himself upon them, that's why they have they choice to come to God or not come to God.

You know the Bible speaks of philosophical men doubting his exsistance. Yes, souls is the goal. The understanding is that Christ sacraficed his life for us. Especially you! He died so that we may be forgiven of our sins, therefore our souls will spend eternity in heaven. And God is not the one tormenting, it is Satan. You have the choice to either accept Christ as your savior or to ignore it. Yes Satan is real and the reason for your doubt Thomas. I know God does exsist and he is with you always you just have to reach out to him. What is it going to hurt. Hey I would rather have something good in my life and spend an eternity in heaven than risk it and spending eternity with satan. What is it going to hurt loving someone who loved you first. Do this for me ok. Tonight before you go to bed, simply ask God to reveal himself to you....and he will. Have an opened mind and he will show himself in ways you knew not possible. God Bless you and your soul!

Are you saying there are more lost than saved? How do you know that?

God wouldn't "lose" even if there were fewer people who followed Him than didn't follow Him. In the end, God will defeat Satan and cast Him into the lake of fire for eternity.

Sounds to me like you are the big loser for being totally clueless about God.

Be careful with what you call GOD, because you will be held accountable, and I do not think that you are ready for his Wrath, As loving as he is, he does not take well to blasphemy or disrespect. If 5 people make it to heaven (paradise) then so be it, he is not concerned with quantity.

P.S. JESUS Already WON!!!!!

The only loosers will be the ones without God.

God won't be doing the tormenting in Hell. He won't be there. It will be Satan doing the torturing and tormenting in Hell along with gnashing of teeth with regret.

No. Not right. Your assumption isn't valid.

No. Those that are condemned do so as the result of their own decisions/actions.
