Local schools (we gift cards, candy,etc.)
A local hospice (in memory of my mom)
American Cancer Society
The University of Akron
Kent State University

We donate clothes, etc. to our local Goodwill Store
We donate books to our local public library.

My husband donates to Doctor's Without Borders

University of Michigan
American Diabetes Association

Giving to charity is great for some people. Me as an individual would rather give help when I see or know of need. For instance I saw a young mom and 4 kids walking in the pouring rain because they had no car. I picked them up and went a few miles out of my way to take them where they needed to be.

I donate blood every two months.
I volunteer in a soup kitchen.
I give offerings at church for different ministries.
I volunteer in children's ministries and the church nursery.
I volunteer my time and money on my phone bill to call out prayer requests to the people on our church prayer chain.
I am a trained Red Cross Shelter volunteer (haven't actually had our shelter put to use yet, though).
I donate to Samaritan's Purse.
I donate to a local camp for children who are allergic to sunshine. (The camp activities are held at night)

Tithe plus offerings to missions and community needs. Time to church, community, hospice, but I could definitely give more of both, time and money. I also do give blood to red cross on a scheduled basis...because I am 0+.

I give to St Judes Children's research hospital, I volunteer time and money to my church. Used to give and volunteer A LOT but got burned out.

I give both time and money to my church.
I give both time money to The Lions Club.
I give time th Character Counts Coalition.
I give time to various other community activities.
I give donations to various community organizations such as Scouts.

I give money to my church and our local homeless shelters (two). I give Christmas gifts to the children in one homeless shelter. I spend time mentoring children and teenagers.

Money to breast Cancer research.

I also donate to Big Brothers and Big Sisters.

Time and money to my children's schools.

Not to mention various other small things (money and time)
