I find that people that don't always agree with me, but are willing to have a discussion the best.

Sometimes I get into more disagreements with people of my faith.

I like people that are well informed, interesting, curious, and respectful, regardless of their beliefs.

I think people who can openly discuss religion without insulting either the people in the discussion or the religion as a whole tend to be the kind of people I would have a conversation with. I rarely agree with people about my faith but I live in the south and I am not so mmuch a minority but neither are there a lot of us either..

Hi, you're not alone. I have the same feelings as well. It does NOT mean that people having the same faith see eye to eye. I guess I just keep quiet if I sense there are disagreements. I don't like to get into arguments. I personally prefer to have discussions with more open-minded people. It's a lot less likely to get to arguments with them.

I don't care if people agree with me, but do me the same courtesy I am willing to extend. To whit, listen with an open mind, do not pre judge, don't try to convince, just state views, and above all show respect to me as I will to you. But as you are likely well aware, religious people get all pushy and breathless when it comes to their faith. And that's the point, it's their faith not mine so give some space and I'll be far more ready to listen, crowd me, and my eyes glaze over, and I walk.

I like to talk to people who can at least "agree to disagree", and this not only when discussing religion.

The best are those who feel deeply about their faith tradition but who are confident enough to be curious, open minded, engaged, and willing to grow in wisdom that is shared and not exclusive.

People who can give and take ruthless criticism without getting defensive. Also, I prefer staying focused on the ideas and not the people. I criticize Christianity, but I don't call Christians stupid, for example.
