It is important to just eat a healthy diet for a young woman of your age. If you try to force yourself to eat too many carbs or sugars, you will just put on weight in all the wrong places. Your body will continue to change pretty fast now so be patient. You are a beautiful butterfly in the making!

There are protein drinks that will help you bulk up. But since you're only in the 6th grade, I wouldn't worry too much. Some people are just going to be skinnier than others.
Avocados are really good. They have a lot of fat in them and not the bad fat either. Guacamole and chips girl...................FAT TOWN HERE WE COME!!!!

I suggest you to make that question again but especifying your age. Because, if you're under 20, it's impossible or extremely difficult for you to get thicker and no matter what you eat you won't get thicker.

Well, what do you think? Do you think you're too skinny? Don't go by what other people say. You are young, and some people are just naturally skinny. I was the same way when I was younger, and I filled out nicely. Just give it time, and don't worry about those haters!

yes, it probably is a good idea to start putting on muscle. Working out and running can put on some muscle but don't start eating fatty foods, that's definitely not the way to go.

You're in the 6th grade and you're trying to get thicker?! Please don't grow up too fast. Trust me, you will get thicker and grow into your body. That's why I'm glad I don't have any daughters. I woul be worried to death.

Ignore what other people say as it will lower your self-esteem. How tall are you? Is your doctor concerned about it?
