Added note: I see that alot of you put'don't rush into things' . I put on a few questions I've answered 'don't rush into things.' That's not my concern. Usually he acts goofy, so I think the hugging was promising. Thanks!

I think so. You might see if there are other times in the near future when he is affectionate towards you and you might try to give a little affection back.

I like Diana D's answer.
And I agree with her. Hindsight tells me there were a few times I was a little dense about "signals" and walked away from a few great possibilities without realizing what I was doing.
Actually, there was a time I was just considered a tad bit niave. I didn't realize that I was "this close" to a relationship that could have gone far enough to satisfy the ultimate bragging rights of any teenage boy.
I vote for Diane D and her "stick" response. I certainly needed a stick a few times.

It could mean that he was being nice. It could also mean that he likes you. Don't assume anything. See how he acts the next time you see him. Give him an opportunity to tell if he likes you or ask you out. You can start a conversation by thanking him for keeping you warm at the game.....I hope that helps...

Oh yeah -
What was your response? Give him a way to contact you by email or phone later?
Did you let him know you enjoyed it?
Most guys, in the 35 years I've been around them, tend to be a shade dense when it comes to the whole relationship procedures and you have to smack them with the interested stick to get them moving. Kind of like donkeys.

Yes...or...he was trying to warm up his hands! Seriously, if you felt something there...it probably is off to a good start. Have fun.
