Letters: Paul, James, Peter, John, Jude all wrote 'letters' included in the New Testament. 23 Years reading it in Greek tells me that someone else wrote Hebrews, though it is traditionally attributed to Paul, the internal evidence STRONGLY points to another writer.
Strange... With about 60 semester hours of Bible, I've never run into the "book of the letters" meaning Biblical texts. Origen, and a few other "church fathers" composed multiple letters which have been compiled into 1 or more "book(s) of letters." I would have to know in what context the question is asked to give any real attempt at an answer on that.
Yes, John most likely wrote the fourth Gospel which commonly bears his name.

Well number 2 is John. But number one isn't specific enough. You list 3 blanks for the letters, but there are well more than three books in the New Testament that are considered letters. Paul is the writer of most of them. Perhaps if you clarify a bit more, I can edit my answer to be more specific.

The book of Letters? This is news to me, I have never seen any book of Letters in the Bible. The Bible has 40 different authors writing different parts over a period of about 3 to 4 thousand years. Each writer having been inspired by the Holy Spirit.

Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Paul, Peter, Jude, and James wrote the N.T. Hope that helps but the question seems a little vague.
John wrote the Gospel of John, 1 John, 2 John, 3 John and Revelation.

This sounds like an expression of a few form yet right here is what I take from it. a million) "no person comes except God draw him" Jesus is the sturdy Shepherd, and his sheep understand His voice. while He calls, they hear (John 10). The sheep do no longer bypass finding for the shepherd, particularly the shepherd calls out to His lost sheep. God makes the 1st flow. He loves us first, then we respond . 2) The spirit lives in believers 3) back, Jesus includes us. Sinful guy does no longer come to him until eventually He includes us. Our spiritually ineffective hearts can no longer decide for for Christ until eventually they're made alive in the process the capacity of the Holy Spirit

There's no book called the Letters though. I am assuming you mean all of the epistles?
The answer to the first questions is Paul, John, and I'm at a loss on this one. Maybe James? They were authors of letters, or maybe it was just about them, I'm not sure, but I am sure of Paul and John. Paul wrote the majority of the letters. James, John, Jude, and Peter all wrote letters as well.
The second answer is John

The Letter writers were Paul, Peter and John. The writer of Hebrews is assumed to be Paul.

the author of Genesis was Moses
in New Testament Matthew Mark, Luke and John are obvious
for the others the nRSV Life application explains all this stuff preceding each book... He can look up the rest...its his work..

1. The writers and scholars of the Roman Catholic Church.
2. The writers and scholars of the Roman Catholic Church.
None of the 12 Apostles or anybody who actually knew Jesus, or who had ever seen Jesus, ever wrote anything about him.
The only verifiable writing of the Apostle Paul, who never knew Jesus either, is a one paragraph letter.
