I believe earth is indeed round, as seen from outer space, and that people have gone to the moon.

Contrary to popular belief, the Bible doesn't say that the earth is flat. I think Infrared Loaf is stretching the text.

I do not believe that the earth is round. Based on observation, as well as the logical reasoning and evidence behind others observations, I have come to the conclusion that a very nearly spherical earth is the only explanation that fits all of the facts.

Therefore, the theory of a round earth is upheld.

This is a good theory, but has never actually been proven. All of the evidence we have right now supports the theory, but if new evidence or new scientific tests were to come up with data that disagrees with the theory, we would have to examine and possibly modify the theory.

The earth is definitely flat, but contrary to popular belief, if you sail off the side, you don't get eaten by giant sea monsters.

(Most of the sea monsters there are vegetarian, and usually you can convince them to lift your boat back onto the ocean, if you catch them on a good day.)

What does this have to do with religion at all? Anyone who believes the world is flat is an idiot and too dumb to comprehend the meaning of religion and spirituality anyway...
