First off, I must make the statement that getting into heaven is not dependent on how "good" you try to be. No man, woman or child can get to heaven on works, because all have sinned. The only way to heaven is through God's grace which was offered to us free of charge through His son, Jesus Christ. Read these verses in the Bible; John 3:16, Romans 3:21-24, Romans 5:8; Ephesians 2:4-5...You'll soon get the picture. The link below may also be helpful in understanding a little more about salvation.

ABSOLUTELY !!! All you need to do is to confess you are lost and that you are sorry for your sin. Then you need to accept that Christ died for your sins and that this is the only way you can hope to be forgiven. Please do this. It's not just about getting to Heaven it's also about having a great life here and now. It's about being a part of a HUGE family of believers. It is not about being better than anyone else it's just about being better off. A home in Heaven, fellowship with GOD, blessings like you have never known and knowing that the things you do for the Kingdom of Heaven will last when the things you have done for the world or the flesh will perish. GOD LOVES YOU! He said "whosoever" not just a few. BLESSINGS TO YOU!

Well it is doing Gods will for one, Going to heaven is a "calling" from Gods holy spirit. If you have any doubts that you are going to heaven, which includes you know what you will be doing there when you get there,,,, as stated in the bible.... then it is more than changing your ways. It means you are approved by God to be in heaven.

Deeper study of the bible shows most people will live on the earth not heaven.

you can not earn your way into heaven. Only through Jesus is the way. Once you are born again through HIm you become a new creature and the old falls away. You will begin to see the change and the motive for change will be different

Yes, it's true. But it's not as easy as it seems. Without God's help, humans could never do this. And to ask for help, they need to strongly will to change. Only then there is a synergy (working together) of man and God, that leads to salvation.

But the bottom line is that there is hope for everyone.

Yes

1Corinthians 6:9 Don’t you know that evil people will not receive God’s kingdom? Don’t be fooled. Those who commit sexual sins will not receive the kingdom. Neither will those who worship statues of gods or commit adultery. Neither will men who are prostitutes or who commit homosexual acts. 10 Neither will thieves or those who always want more and more. Neither will those who are often drunk or tell lies or cheat. People who live like that will not receive God’s kingdom. 11 Some of you used to do those things. But your sins were washed away. You were made holy. You were made right with God. All of that was done in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Some of you used to do those things…

If they change their ways suggests you can earn heaven of your own works which is not true. Accepting Jesus is the ONLY way to get into heaven.

Joh 14:6
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

ABSOLUTELY!!! LOOK AT PAUL AKA SAUL. ON THE ROAD TO DAMASCUS JESUS CAME TO HIM IN A BLINDING LIGHT AND LEFT HIM SIGHTLESS FOR THREE DAYS. HE ASKED HIM " WHY ARE YOU DOING THESE THINGS TO ME?" WHAT? HE WAS TORTURING AND KILLING CHRISTIANS. THUS BECAME THE MOST BRILLANT MINISTER, SINCE THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, THE WORLD HAS SEEN. THOSE ARE HIS WORDS IN THE KJV
AND ALL TRANSLATIONS. ALL THE ANSWERS AT A MOMENTS NOTICE. SO YES THERE IS HOPE FOR ANYONE, WHAT DID PAUL SAY " CONFESS OUT LOUD WITH YOUR MOUTH WHEN YOU BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART THAT JESUS CHRIST DIED AND WAS RESURRECTED TO PAY FOR YOUR SINS" SEE ROMANS10:9 THATS THE DOORWAY TO HEAVEN. IT WILL BE A ROCKY ROAD SOMETIMES BUT THATS GODS WAY TO GET US IN SHAPE FOR WHATS TO COME. MAKE US READY FOR HEAVEN. PLEASE BEAR IN MIND THAT THIS IS OUR TEMPORARY LIFE. 80? 100? YEARS ARE JUST A GRAIN OF SAND ON THE BEACH OR OFF IN THE DESERT. WHATS TO COME? HEAVEN OR HELL. IS JESUS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOR? GET BACK TO ME IF YOU HAVE ANY MORE QUESTIONS. MAY GOD BLESS YOU!

Look in your bible at John 3:16 it says that whose so ever believe in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. If you truly believe that jesus died on the cross to save you from sin and accept him as your savior then you will have a home in heaven.

Welll not exactly. There is hope for anyone who realizes they are sinners in need of forgiveness. Then if they repent of their sin and turn from it... they can go to heaven. But it is not just you changing your ways. It is God cleansing your heart and making your ready for heaven and then you choosing to keep it clean so you will always be ready for heaven. Repentance means you were going in one direction and you chose to turn and go the other way... turning from your old ways...and going God's way.
