Your opinion on King Saul consulting a medium/psychic before he went into battle and was slain him and his sword bearer?

Anytime you consult a medium, you are only asking for trouble. Saul was disobedient to God's commands, and when God's spirit left Saul's presence, Saul made the fatal mistake of consulting the medium to talk to Samuel, which led to Saul's and Jonathan's death. If Saul had been obedient to God from the start, Saul could have lived a long and prosperous life.

King Saul went against the commandment of God by consulting the witch of Endor. God told the Israelites, "A man or woman who is a medium or spiritist among you must be put to death. You are to stone them; their blood will be on their own heads" Leviticus 20:27
I personally, don't believe the witch brought Samuel back from the dead. I believe God used the spirit of Samuel to prophesy against Saul because of Saul's sin.

Consulting mediums is very bad and the story of Saul stands as an example to all who consider such practices.

GOD said not to do it.
Saul disobeyed.
Alot of Times.
It is not GOD that gets you, it is the Devil.
Disobeying GOD Opens the Door for the Devil to Attack you.
Everybody tries to Blame GOD though.
Sometimes Disobediance will let the Devil make your Life on the Earth Very Short.
Annanias and Saphiras.
satan Kills, Steals and Destroys.
GOD gives Life and the Keys to Life too!
We only have to Obey GOD to Learn how to Use those Keys.

To me it means that when I can't hear GOD to stop and hit my knees rather then to try and find another way through life. I really can't imagine trying to find my own way anymore. I guess I'm just a brainless slave of Jesus Christ. But I'm sure doing a lot better then I did on my own.
