2000 Daewoo Lanos
2000 Saturn SL2
2000 Daewoo Leganza

I'm a beginning driver.. still new at this. Trying not to spend too much. Looking for something that's good with gas as well. Any of these seem okay?

If not, is there something you would recommend?

Thanks.

Hey Shorty! if you are a beginner driver, I would tell you to go for a Honda or Toyota. But definitely leave that Daewoo alone, and I wouldn't even suggest you buy A Saturn either. If you are by any chance still in school, that Honda or Toyota is going to last you a lot longer with fewer repairs. Again all of this is depending on how well you take care of an automobile, and keeping the engine serviced. So once you join the ranks with the rest of us, that car will be your baby, and will be up to you give it the proper care. Oh! and one more thing, don't ever get in the habit of letting any one else drive your vehicle. Good luck now, and make a smart decision when buying that first car. I would run this idea by my Mom or Dad if I were you, just to get there take on it.

Hugs,
Texas girl

The Saturn for sure.. you can get repairs and parts for it. Daewoo now makes the Chevy Aveo in Korea for GM but getting parts and service for a Daewoo would be much more difficult than the Saturn.

Of the three you list, the Saturn is my choice. Daewoo is bankrupt (and for good reason).

None of the above. I would recommend a Toyota. The cars are priced affordibly and they last a long time. Go to Toyota.com. I have the new 2007 Camry and I love it. I used to have the Corolla, which was the cheaper one, but I loved that one too. My family buys only Toyotas and we have never had any problems with our cars.

My brother works for an insurance company here in OZ and after i brought a horrid mazda he has told me to go for a toyota next year when i get a new car as they were proven to be one of the most reliable best car brands you can buy. Nice styles and good prices to.

Of your pick of that 3, I'd go Saturn. They last and last.
