This is about religion, does redemption bring escape? or is it the other way around? escape brings redemption?

Both, in a manner of speaking.

Redemption brings an escape from the wrath of God on Judgment Day.

And 1 Cor. 10:13 tells us that there is an escape for us to take that will bring redemption. Jesus is that escape.

redemption does save us from the death penalty...death then resurrection..if we repent we can have it all
