first let me begin by telling you all that i am a former muslim. now the koran says that an angel flew to and from heaven cartering divine messages to mohomed right. now this is only mohomed's claim, and no one else saw or heard this heavenly creature either except mohomed. since i did not see or hear this angel myself, dont you think i have a right to reject this story as a load of rubbish?
to muslims, did this heavenly farista have wings? and was it a male or female angel? and what sort of a language did it speak?
to thinking people i say, do you believe in such garbage stories that mohomed made up?

If u have read the books of Ahadiths, than u will know that there were times when this angel (in the form of man) appeared to Sahabas too.
Let me explain. The sahabas were speaking with Prophet Mohammad. Then, if a revleation had to come, the angel would descend and sometimes, the sahabas would see the angel in the form of man. but the angel would only converse with Prophet Mohammad n the angel would dissapear.
the sex any angel is not known. Nor the appearance. THough it is known that angels (farishtas) are made of Noor (light).
The angel spoke words which Allah had only commanded the angel too. They could not speak any other words. So, logic says they spoke arabic. The arabic which we have in the Quran.

I think it was not the angel gabriel as mohammed claimed... but a demonic fallen angel spirit. (Angels are not male or female--just spirits) Mohammed himself was not sure at first and it took his wife Kadijah, to convince him that it was Gabriel. It so distressed him that he even wanted to committ suicide. Mohammed did not have the teachings we have or the Bible we have today. He did not understand spiritual things very well. Much of what he came to believe is totally against the Jewish and Christian faiths that he came from. But coming from a troubled home, raised by his uncle, marrying a woman twice his age...He was dysfunctional to say the least. He had many superstitious notions.

That is a reason that I cannot accept Islam. One man, Mohamed, heard the voices and no one else heard it. The god of Islam never revealed himself to anyone else, either before or after Mohamed. I know that many claim that the God of the Bible is the same as the Allah of Islam but if you read both holy books, it is plain that they are not the same at all.

all religions and revelations was sent to the prophets (peace be upon them ) by that great angel that is called jibril, angels arenot like humans , so they are niether male , nor females , they donm't eat , don't sleep .....etc.
anyway i don't have time to try to explain things from the basic beliefs of the muslims , u don't know what islam is , so better to stop making ******* of urself.
