I have seen all over yahoo posts where people had asked to Christians what happens to children when they die, or after judgment day, do they go to hell because they did not chose Christ as their saviour? the asnwer was no , stating because they did not sin they were saved already , isn't that a contraddiction of christian doctrines that teach we all were born SINNERS???

9 out 10 I'd say that you must be a Catholic, as I was once until I opened my eyes...

Sorry to burst your bubble but the doctrine of 'original sin' is an invention of the Roman Catholic Church since its early days --which teachings may have filtered through to other subsequent Protestant denominations after they had cut off their ties with the Mother Church during or after the Great Reformation since the 15th century.

That doctrine or teaching was a means of the RCC to justify their proselytizing in an effort of getting ALL newborn babies to be immediately baptized into the congregation, no questions asked... by using the notion or concept that "we all were born sinners."

It is among many of the fabrications, lies and false doctrines perpetrated by the RCC. You will find that NO WHERE within all the pages of the entire Holy Bible--use ANY version if you like--actually mentions such words or any teaching of 'original sin'. Guaranteed.

Research it for yourself and while you're at it [i.e., reading the Bible] also look for such words as "purgatory", "immaculate conception", "trinity", "eucharist", "praying to saints", etc. among many others still...

Seek and you shall find. Listen and you shall hear. Open your eyes and you shall see. Knock and the door shall be opened for you...

Peace be with you!

In Christian belief, the Bible speaks of the age of accountability, or the age at which a child is able to become aware that they have sinned and make the choice on their own free will to accept Christ as their savior. So really, it isnt a contradiction if you read the Bible and know what its talking about. Someone said before that that age differs from each child, and that could be true. Just dont pick out one part of a religion if you havent done your own part to study and read into it. Im not saying believe it, but at least do a little of the leg work yourself.

We are born sinners but the child does not go to hell or heaven . He or she come back to earth to try for liberation again. Hell is not eternal nor is the material heaven. You don't know the whole truth on Christ because it has been a cover up by the Catholic Church and others for so long. IF you want the whole truth and nothing but the truth on Christ Go to http://www.essene.org You have to understand reincarnation and Karma to understand the compassionate loving nature of God. It was IN the Bible but taken out by king Constantine

Original sin is a Catholic teaching that many Protestant Churches reject as a Catholic interpretation of scripture. Many Protestant Churches view the only thing handed down from the original sin was the fact we are all mortal and will die. This view also looks at children as not being able to sin until they know good from evil & consciously make a deliberate choice knowing all the consequences. The general age that many view as accountable is 12 years of age. My church states 8 years of age.

It's hard to "nail" Christianity as a whole, when variations of dogma is widespread.

It sounds like your just trying to find fault in christians but you are right we are all born into sin. Children do not go to hell because they haven't reached the age where they fully understand right from wrong. Sure, they know some right from wrong but they are not mature enough to really grasp certain things. God has an age of acountability and that is when the child is old enough to understand that he needs to have a relationship with God.

I would not agree with their answer stating that they wouldn't go to hell because they haven't sinned. Yes, everyone is born sinners.

Would a child who died go to heaven or hell? I believe that they would go to heaven. Yes, they are sinners, and no they didn't choose Christ as their savior. God is a just God and I believe He would forgive souls who did not have the chance to choose.

Children, mentally handicapped, etc. They do not have the intellectual capacity to choose, but I think God would have pity on them.

Note: This is only my opinion, the Bible does not say in black and white whether they go to heaven or not.

According to Romans, all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. It doesn't say, "all who are over a certain age" or anything like that. Because we are not clearly told in the Bible how God deals with children who die before having a chance to choose Him, we really don't know how He handles that. We do know, however, that He is a just and holy God Who is love. He isn't just loving, God is love itself. Wow. I can tell you He has a plan to deal with these little ones of His. I can't tell you what the plan is, but I can tell you about Him Who has that plan. Let's trust Him to know what He's doing.

Babies are born into sin. For all have sinned. Every one who dies goes to Hell. Hell is man's grave. When Jesus comes back on the day of resurrection, all babies will be resurrected. They will have the best of the best, because all they will know is righteousness. But Satan will be let loose after a thousand years and will be able to tempt them. Hopefully the will keep their faith to the very end.

the two concepts are genuine, in basic terms relies upon on the way you % to look at it. Any sin demands God's mercy. Animals have been killed to hide mans unique sin. The skins used to hide guy. This needless to say is the photograph of Christ. This photograph replaced into repeated throughout the time of scripture. God is crammed with mercy and he would not wink at sin. we don't know the factor at which God will carry a maturing persons in charge. yet you are able to guess it in all probability is the factor at which a individual is familiar with what a sin is or isn't. God's mercy extends much extra in a Christians viewpoint using fact God himself presented the sacrifice. returned shown with Abraham and Isaac. As in that tale, we don't do something to make ourselves genuine previously God. He does all of it. We in basic terms placed up our will to him. Our satisfaction could desire to circulate on account that's what places us, in our very own minds, on a point with God. His mercy is limitless. sturdy element for us.

Yes, we all are born with a sinful nature, but God showed us mercy when He sent His Son Jesus, to die on the cross for our sins. The Bible does say in Romans 10:9, That we shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead and we shall be saved. It is true that most young children do not have the knowledge to understand that they have sinned and need Jesus for salvation. In Exodus 33:19, when God was talking to Moses, God said I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy. I believe that God will show His mercy on the children, just as He showed His mercy on mankind.
