You mean Venial Sin Vs Mortal Sin. A person will only be saved if they ask for forgiveness, it doesn't have to be with a priest, that's only for when we are not dying. Not to say if you will die, like in Hospital that you shouldn't call up a Priest. God will forgive and he also knows as our Father we make mastakes and will forgive us if we ask for forgiveness. The person will only Burn in Hell if they don't, deep down or on the top that they follow God.

you thking of venial sin and mortal sin.
venial sin is not as severe as a mortal sin, and if you die having commited a venial sin, you can still enter into heaven.
A mortal sin completely severes you from God and destroys the grave he has given you. Any person who dies in unrepentant mortal sin will go to hell.
But if you repent of these sins you can go to heaven,

There is no hell. If you have sinned so much that you don't deserve to be in heaven, you get reborn into a bad circumstances, with a lot of obstacles.

Immorality has to do with morals.
Mortality has to do with death.
A simple check of a dictionary will give you the definitions.
