I too am inclined to question everything. I have read over 3000 books and I have stumbled over some really interesting concepts that the main stream does not speak of or know about. I am curious how you would react to my favorite book. If you're interested in having all of your questions answered differently than you've ever had them answered before find and read "Thinking and Destiny," by Harold W. Percival. :}

I am very sorry to disappoint you, but I myself view "religious texts" with the same wariness as those who try to tell us all the solutions for our wretched selves are contained therein. I try to use the 3 or so pounds of nerve tissue between my ears and mix it up with common sense and experience to try and make sense of life in general. I have no solutions to our problems, no wonderful revelations to guide us all, only the belief and conviction that the solutions reside in us as a species, and the belief and conviction that faith is all well and good, but collective action is better, and informed collective action best!
