NO; Jesus did not wear the cross, it wore him.

As part of his punishment Jesus was forced to wear a crown of thorns that were pushed into his head. This was because he claimed to be the King of the Jews.

He was whipped as well and then forced to carry his wooden cross to the site of his crucifixion.

The cross was laid on the ground and Jesus was nailed to it, then the cross was put up. Death by crucifixion is painful and very long. The nails hurt, but don't do any real damage or cause much bleeding. The victim suffocates as the position he is put into makes it hard to breathe.

Soldiers guarded the crucified people to make sure that they died on their cross. One soldier put a wet sponge on his spear and gave Jesus a drink of water. Another solder did him a greater favor by stabbing him in the side. The bleeding from this wound might have killed him faster. But, regardless of how he died it took most of the day and was very painful. Jesus was alive and awake through most of the day, at least until sunset suffering for every minute.

Er. I dun think Jesus wears the cross while He was on Earth. But He did carry the cross up to calvary. Anyway, the meaning behind wearing a cross is basically to keep Christians reminded of the sacrifice that Jesus had made for world. John 3:16 says," For God so love the world, HE gave His ONLY begotten son, who so ever believes in Him, shall not perish but have eternal life." Shalom and Jesus loves you.

No, I highly doubt it. And I don't think His Heavenly Father would approve of all who do wear crosses. One, it is a idol, and Two, It probably makes God sad to see the thing that killed his son being worshiped and cherished. We should worship God with Spirit and truth. Yes Jesus died for us, and our knowing this should be enough, without having some symbol to remind us. We should carry the reminder in our hearts. Some people even argue about how Jesus was even crucified. So to be on the safe side, I do not own a replica of what our Savior may have died on. I need nothing to remind me of my faith and what God gave to me, His Son, JESUS!!

For those who have excepted Him as their Savior,He is off the cross and in their hearts.Paul tells the Philippians when talking with them about having faith in Christ the he desires to "know Him and the power of His resurrection" 4:10a..To the Christian Jesus has resurrected and alive in their hearts. This is were the Christian finds strength to over come previous sins. Not that he/she won't be tempted, but as long as he/she keeps their eyes on Christ, they will have the victory. For those who have not excepted Christ into their hearts Jesus still awaits on the cross for them. Please don't keep Him waiting.

Jesus died on the cross, nothing is said about wearing one.
The cross he bore and the ones we wear are so different. The one He died on was an instrument of torture and death, not a pretty gold or silver thing to wear around your neck.

No. He died on a cross, was taken off the cross and arose three days later. He does not wear the cross.

It was a compulory accessory for Christians at the time. Strangely it didn't become a sought after possession for several centuries...
