i was wondering.. if i only ate carrots, salad, bananas, apples, strawberries and food like that for a while could i loose weight and still be happy? im a little over weight and i want to loose it pretty fast.

Just eat a balanced, healthy diet and get some regular exercise. Binge dieting sucks.

Carrots and bananas are pretty high in sugar content. As for happy, lol, well not like that. Unless you're a rabbit. Ideally, I'd have you go to a doctor or nutritionist but since you're asking here, I'm assuming you'd like the answer... here. So here goes:
Everyone should drink AT LEAST 8 glasses of water a day. However, for every 10 lbs overweight you are, add a glass. Check your BMI online to know how overweight you are, and go from there[http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/]. DO NOT DRINK COLAS! Even the diet stuff. It won't make you gain, but you'll lose slower.
You'll need protein, so stick to white fish, egg whites, chicken breast. Try salad for your greens.

BREAKFAST:
6 egg whites
1 apple

LUNCH:
1 can of light tuna
1 orange

DINNER:
1 salad (lettuce, tomatoes, onions and cucumbers only!!)

If you do this for a whole week, coupled with the water consumption, I guarantee you'll lose at least 10 lbs, 3 or 4 of which will be water weight.

This is not unhealthy, nor is it really good for your health. This is just a way to do things quickly.
After that, please follow your national food pyramid and you'll be able to maintain and steadily lose.

The best weight loss program is to simply drink a tall glass of water before every meal and drink a lot of water during the meal. Do not binge between meals; instead have a piece of fruit.

An early morning walk before breakfast would help loose the weight.

go for a 20-30 minute walk 4-5 days a week... and you need protein too, like chicken or eggs are a good source. And don't drink soda or sugary drinks...stick with water as much as you can...

i did weight watcher and lost 22lbs in 2 months. if you rush the weight off i promise when it come back (and it will come back) you will gain twice as much.
