Jersey City. There's public parking available just across the street from the Journal Square PATH train stop. From there, you can take PATH either to 33rd street (close to midtown) or World Trade site (downtown/wall street). PATH fare (I believe) is $1.50 or $2, each way. Keep in mind that the frequency of PATH trains is less between 11pm and 6am. If you decide to take a cab, you'll probably have to pay an extra $6 (toll) to take Holland Tunnel for NYC. There's no toll for travel from NYC to Jersey City.
