1.Try toothpaste! but only ut it on your zits!! although this does take time- overnight, yeah, it will get a little smaller, but it takes atleast 3 days to go.
or
2. Mix water and baking soda and again, place directly on the zits and no where around them ( other wise it dries out skin, causing more oil, causing more zits)
or
3. I sometimes use Clean&Clear Gel stuff, ya know, if ya seen the commerical it gets rid of the oil first.
or
4. I once tried this stuff and it had 8 Hours written on the bottle. but it was a year ago, so i dont remeber what it was called. but it worked well.
anyways, im currently using the tooth paste and i only have 1 zit, on my nose and thats because i accendently put it on my skin :o but its clearing up for me!

Use Differin or Proactiv. Clean your face each day twice a day. Use face mask/wash such as the Neutrogena one and use a clean and clear oil-blotting sheet to remove excess oil from your pores. Use hot water to open up your pores and cold water to close them. DO NOT in any way whatsoever, POP any zits, pimples, whiteheads, or blackheads. Or else, you will be providing even more bacteria near the area and more will appear from just that one.

i spent months looking on the internet for a solution, and finally tried a regular facial at a local spa and bought dermalogical products from their recommendations of my skin type and my skin has never been this healthy looking after using the products. products are pricey but last a long time and way more value than proactiv that actually made my skin worse even after using their gentle formula kit.

I would recommend exfoliating, and then use a medication containing salicylic acid. Exfoliation gets rid of pore clogging dead skin cells and allows the medication to penetrate deeper into the skin. Personally, I don't like benzoyl peroxide because it doesn't do anything for me, it just dries the skin up.

I myself have suffered for many years. I have used proactiv, mario badescu, everything over the counter and dr. murad products. Nothing seemed to work for me until I discovered products created by Dan Kern (another acne sufferer). You can find his products as well as tons of info on his site.
www.acne.org
He created the product himself and all proceeds go to research for acne.

Not to try and downplay anyone else's answers, but ProActiv didn't work for me; though I didn't really use it regularly and my ex-boyfriend used Accutane and it really messed up his hormones and made him angry and he wasn't able to control his emotions.

I have tried everything...so believe me when I say try Clearogen (www.clearogen.com)...it works, but you have to give it time...Also if you can, ask your dermatologist about microdermabrasion and non-ablative laser therapy....I have these two treatments done once a month and it is wonderful...
