depends on where you are. If your in Texas then if you have been north of the Red River you are a yank which makes you free game for open swindling, air let out of tires, smirks when you point out some foolish behavior (or a butt whooppen if you are small and pointed it out to a large group),, poor service if you ask if there is something on the menu that does not have bacon grease in it, and a long list of other cowardly things that might be perpetrated on you like character assasination behind your back, and so on,, so stay outta here you yankees

No. according to the south, i believe New York and several states above the mason-dixon line are considered Yankees.

In Louisiana, we consider anybody from north of the Mason Dixon Line to be a Yankee. This includes anybody from any of those northeastern states.

no. The British used to call any1 from America a Yankee (I don't know if they still do).
And also the baseball team in New York, stupid NYY! They suck!!!
