If jesus knew that Judas was going to betray him resulting in Jesus being put on the cross, doesnt that mean that Judas infact had no free will because it was already mapped out?

if god knows our every choice in life before we are born, he would know that some us are no good and wont be invited to heaven, whats to point in us living in the first place, again this looks like there is infact no free will.

Judas did what Jesus ask him to do.
NO more no less.
The idea of Judas betraying Jesus was an early catholic creation from the 4th century.

God's knowledge of the future is like seeing it before it happens. He sees it but He does not take away free will. He just sees the results of free will. He sees the decisions made with the results before they're made and happen in turn. He does not control them. Foreknowledge is not predestination.
Judas had freewill and chose his own destiny. If he would not have been the one to arrange for Jesus' arrest the scenario would have been different but it would have been seen and known by God.
Jesus in fact tried to convince Judas not to go through with it, but Judas was determined. Judas made his own decision as we all do. It was not the cross that killed Jesus. He died because of separation from His father. It was sin that separated them and killed Him. Jesus died much earlier than expected by either the Roman soldiers or the Jewish leaders. In fact Jesus would have died in the Garden before He was arrested, due to the sins of the world, but the angels helped strengthen Him so He could become a public sacrifice.

no that does not mean it is mapped out because, yes jesus knew Judas was going to betray him but God always knows what's going to happen even before we know. He knows what's going on in everyone's mind! Judas has free will, since Jesus did tell Judas that he knew that he will betray him judas could have stopped himself from doing anything!!

Jesus knew. Actually he unveiled his plan. Judas did have free will. But for the sake of argument, if it wouldn't have been him, it would have been another... someone would have betrayed Jesus. Peter did too. Peter did not commit suicide, though. Jesus loved Judas, just as He loves Peter. Judas made his own choice. We do have free will. But God sees all our choices just as we are about to make them. That's why Jesus knew. Hard to understand? No wonder.. our 3D can't explain the multi-D of God. We didn't develop a vocabulary to explain the things of God. Much less any other sensory perceptions. That's why God is God.
Jesus said to Judas : "What you have to do, do it quickly", but he didn't tell him what he had to do cuz Judas knew, and that implicitly was to repent, since he was harboring that sin for a while now. So now, because of the fact that he didn't repent, Satan entered in his heart, so he used Judas for the purpose of betraying Jesus.
He didn't do what he had to do, he did what he couldn't help but do it, because his heart didn't belong to Jesus.

Nope - Judas Iscariot made a choice - God knew of that choice and with that choice was used as an instrument that would place Jesus on the cross. Yes, God knows everything - But, He gives us all a choice in the matter. Imagine this - Some of us speak as if we are christians and others are christians - God will use us in a very specific way to do His will and no other. We can imagine that satan had a hand in this decision too - Dig real deep and understand what was going on. God vs. satan

Jesus did know that Judas was going to turn against Him.He told all the disciples at the Lord's supper that someone was going to betray Him. Freewill: Judas made a choice and carried it out even after he knew Jesus knew.

Knowledge is not control.
When it was time to prepare for Jesus' final passover with the apostles, He told 2 of them to go into town and follow a MAN carrying a jar of water.
1. Men did not carry water in that culture.
2. People got water in the morning, this was afternoon.
3. This person invited the apostles into their home. It seems that it was the same room where Jesus appeared to the apostles multiple times after the resurrection - this became their 'headquarters' in Jerusalem.
Jesus could see into the future as easily as he could see across a room. He responded to things people THOUGHT.
Knowing an outcome is not the same as choosing a particular outcome. The people involved had choices, Jesus just knew what they would decide.

Jesus' knowing, did not influence Judas' decision to betray Him. Judas still had to make the decision for himself.
Judas' sinful betrayal of Christ, had nothing to do with Christ's sacrificial act. Because Judas took part, credit shouldn't be given for his poor decision.
God does not force us to sin, we make the choice. He knows the outcome.

Jesus knew that Judas was going to make that choice. If Judas was going to chose not to betray Jesus, then Jesus would have known differently.
God knows our futures, does that mean we don't have choices? No.

No, Judas had free will, but Jesus knew what His decisions would be. He did not force Judas to do anything he didn't want to.
