Yes, you are asked to be cleaned of your sins and transgressions you do every single day. You need to understand that you as well as everyone else screws up every single day and asking God for another chance is just what God wants you to do so He may have a relationship with you and watch you grow into that man or woman He is looking for.

If you have believe and trusted in what the Lord Jesus Christ did for you on the cross then you have total forgiveness. He died for your sins. He was buried and took your sins away and He rose again the third day for your justification. Your sins are forgiven but when you do sin you should ask the Lord to help you not to do it again and turn from it. You pay for your sins now in the body for the body has not been redeemed and will return to the earth. 1 Corinthians 11: 30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. 1 Corinthians 11: 31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. 1 Corinthians 11: 32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

You must pray and repent daily for your sin. You live in the flesh and that is sin. Sin is human nature, all you can do is try not to do it. We have a forgiving God,dont worry! I beleive that he died on the cross so everytime we sinned we wouldnt die. It says that the wages of sin is death. But everyone has a choice,if we believe in him, follow his path,we would have everlasting life. Sin was created by Satan defying God the very 1st time. The bad in the world is because of Satan,God left him to be over all evil and earth. In the eyes of the Lord, good people are better than bad. But they both can change. Its real,no doubt. What do you think now?

Jesus died for our sins so we didn't have to. The Bible says in Romans 3:23 that we've all sinned. So the question is not "if" you have sinned--because the answer is yes, you have. So have I. So has everyone else in this world. Only Jesus was sinless. Rom. 6:23 says that the wages of sin is death. Meaning, we deserved to die for our sins. But Jesus came to earth and gave the ultimate sacrifice--He who was sinless became sin for us and died, and rose again three days later. Now we have free access to God the Father through Jesus, His Son. So yes, we are responsible for our sins--in the sense that we are responsible for whether or not we go to heaven. You have to choose to accept the free gift of eternal life that Jesus gave us by dying on the cross for us. If you accept Jesus as your Saviour, and confess your sins and ask for forgiveness, He will forgive you of your sins, and cleanse you from your unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9) But just because you become a Christian doesn't mean you become perfect. We all still sin. The difference is, we are not slaves to that sin anymore. Jesus already paid the price for our sin. So we are not condemned to death and hell, just because we sin. Our responsibility as a Christian is to always try to follow God's directions that He gives us in His Word, and when we fail, to ask forgiveness and do our best to change our ways. God knows that we will fail. He knows we're not perfect. But He loves us and He promises to forgive us when we ask Him to. Hope this helped you. :)

When you accept Jesus into your heart, he sends the Holy Spirit into it. Even though your saved, everyone is a dirty rotten sinner, so you must ask for forgiveness. Jesus sacrificed His own life for us so we will be forgiven and have etenal life. (Heaven) Your responible for your sins on Earth, but Jesus is reponisble for your sins everywhere you are. Just ask a Christian friend of yours to explan it to you.

Jesus' death on the cross covered your past sins. It is the ministry of Christ as your High Priest in the heavenly sanctuary that covers your present and future sins. The role of the High Priest is to advocate for the sinner by ministering the blood of the sacrifice in the temple. When a sinner confesses his sins, the sins are transfered to Christ who was slain for us. The High Priest (Christ) takes the blood of the sacrifice and sprinkles it in the temple in heaven, thus depositing the sins in the temple. It is the work of Christ ministering His blood, continually applying the cross for us that allows for the forgiveness of sins you commit after you are baptized.
And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous 1 John 2:1
Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them Hebrew 7:25
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5

Jesus' death on the cross earned your forgiveness (you ARE forgiven NOW). He gives that forgivenss to you FREELY just as he gives it FREELY to each and every person of all time. However, you receive the benefit of that forgiveness only through faith. Faith is created FREELY by the Holy Spirit which is worked in your heart through the holy, inerrant Word of God.
In God's eyes, there is no one who is good (Romans 3:10) and all our "good works are like filthy rags" (Isaiah 64:6) but when God looks at Christians, he doesn't see their sin, he sees CHRIST'S righteousness.
God demands perfection. The only way to get into heaven is to keep God's law perfectly therefore, we need Christ who has kept the law PERFECTLY for us. There is nothing that we can do to merit even a nanosecond in heaven.

I think you misunderstand all about Jesus sacrificing. Christianity come from Jesus's teaching of the truth and the way of God's will where many ppl at that time practise wrongly. so that ppl understand and follow Jesus's way of living and teaching which most of the religious ppl then could not stand it. Jesus was crucified because of his teaching against them at that time. Forgiveness will be granted to ppl who repent and surrender to God all with their hearts. that's what one of Jesus's teaching which religious ppl could not accept. when bad ppl repent and turn to God will be saved fr sins. ppl are responsible for what they have done but when they understand the truth and repent from what they have done, shouldn't there be a chance of change their lives? Jesus show that way and He died for that truth to let ppl unstand it. Many things he show at that time is sinificant and different from the rules of the religions then. It is not that Jesus died on the cross and automatically you are forgiven fr yr sins. Forgiveness is given only to those who repent and ask for.

If you want to have a relationship with God in Heaven, you do have to ask for forgiveness for your sins. Yes everyone is responsible for his/her own sins and deeds, but to the same extent, we have to make a choice as to wether or not we will die in our sins and spend an eternity separated from God, or repent, ask forgiveness, and spend eternity with God in Heaven.
God is Holy and cannot allow sin into Heaven. But at the same time of being Holy, he is also just and righteous to forgive us, if we just ask him, and turn to him in Faith.

Yes. Jesus' sacrifice does not cover you if you continue to deliberately make mistakes...sin, if you will,
His scrifice is to remove 'inherited' sin from you, the penalty of which is death. When you diem your death 'pays' for your sins'. Only Jesus can pay for your 'inherited' sin. In doing so, when Armageddon occurs, and if you are still alive and doing god's will, you will no longer be subject to death [(Revelation 21:4) And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
So it is important that you try and not sin in your life, but if you do so, please ask God's forgiveness. And always do so THROUGH his son, Jesus. [John 14;6]
