Contact your phone service provider and file a complaint; you should be noting the dates and times of each call so that the phone company can have some way of beginning to trace the call. You also need to contact your local police and file a complaint, again providing as much information as possible regarding the dates and times of the calls, and what is said, whether the caller is male or female, vocal characteristics such as if they speak in a clearly identifiable voice, if they whisper, if they seem to have a speech impediment of any sort, if they seem to have some sort of breathing problem (wheezing, etc). Please, do not ignore these calls, the person making them is very disturbed and needs to be stopped before s/he decides to do more than just call......

If you don't have caller ID, *69 works sometimes to get the phone #.

Turn your caller ID on and get his/her number and report to the police...or don't answer and let your answering machine get them on tape....otherwise the only other alternative is to change your number.

Keep a whistle by the phone and blow into it when they call. Before they get a chance to say anything.

even as they call you may want to write down the organization they are with and tell them you want to be positioned on their" No call" list. in the adventure that they call back you are able to document a lawsuit. the different component you are able to do is provide up your land line and go strictly with cellphones. it really is against the law to do any telephone solicitation with cellphones.

Call your phone company and tell them what is happening, they are very helpful. Be willing to prosecute the person if they catch him/her.
