There is this guy at my church that I really like. He is a great guitarist, really hot, teaches the leadership team at my church, goes to a christian college and is overall, a great christian guy. I have known him since I was 4 years old, and he's always been nice to me. Since I am in his leadership class I have gotten to know him more. We talk to each other a lot more and the more I get to know him, the more I like him. According to all of my friends, we would be a perfect match. Since we are both Christians, we have a lot of the same morals (example: no sex before marriage, no cursing, ect.). I am a pretty positive he likes me too, and there is a lot of other things cool about him.
The only problems that I can think of are:
1. I'm still in high school and he is in college (a six year age difference)
2. I am not really shy, but it would be extremely uncomfortable for me if I had to confront him about it.

Please give me some advice, I don't know what to do!

I would not go out with him unless I was 18- i just want to know what to do right now. We are just friends right now, and we both know it would not be acceptable to go out.

Yeah, you do sound like a perfect match here.. (I'm listening to your friends here too.. they're all Christians, they know you 2 guys.. we're a load of strangers out here and do not.) I am glad you are Christians and it'll pay off.. I hope you do not get a lot of rude-comments in here.. (people are like that.. you sound like a really nice girl, er woman.) I was thinking back when I was in h.s./then college.. Back then it was a big age difference to have a high school and college 'kid' hook up.. (too much difference..) Now I don't know(?) (Guess I am too old!.. lol.. 53/f) I think if you've got these same morals (you don't sound in any HUGe hurry here, that's good) you should pray on it, wait some more. Can you talk to your minister? (I know.. it's embarassing.. how about talking to the minister's wife? other women in the church?) You'd be surprised (if it's like MY church) how helpful they can be! (might put in a good word for ya even.. wink) IF this guy is looking (and he will be) for a good CHRIStian wife, don't worry, he'll go straight back to his favorite church (and guess what?! YOU'll be there!) good luck.. I'll be praying for you two.. peace out

jesus loves you . if you truley care about this young man ,then by all means tell him how you feel. if you don't take chances you'll never get hurt, but you'll miss out in the relationship too.I would just simply state you enjoy his company alot and then the balls in his court.Wait patiently and see what happens. he may be afraid of what the church or your parents might think.and the age issue may be a problem with him right now but unless you try you'll never know.
life is too short and too unpredictable. TAKE A CHANCE !

Unless you want a scandal in your church (not to mention the possibility of jail for him) , wait till your 18 and out of High School. Then good luck. If it is ment to be, it will wait. And you will have a life time then.

Well, if he so much as touches you in "that" way, he's breaking the law.

If you let him know and he has the patience to be your friend and maybe even go on some dates, until you are 18. That would be pretty sweet.
