i'm a sophomore and i have a crush on a senior..we talk online, and when we see each other in school...we are always joking around, saying stuff like "luv ya" and "hey honey", stuff like that... i know he's joking, but i how do i really know that for sure? should i let him know how i feel? i don't want to ruin our friendship or have things be awkward, but i want to see if we have a chance...what should i do?

i don't really have much advice except for be yourself..which i know is cliche and all..but it really does work...

hey well i think that if you feel something towards him then that probably means he's feeling something for you cause lots of time you can feel that spark going on and he's definetly being flirty or super friendly. either way, if your instincts are telling you theres something, listen to your gut. if you guys talk a lot, then yeah theres something there, he might be to shy to talk to you about it or might even be in the same position your in, he might not want to ruin the friendship, but its always good to be honest and upfront, if you like someone, let them know, not scaring them away, but talk to them about it in a suttle way cause before you know you might end up in the only friends stage cause no one ever said anything or he might get disillusioned or you might get disillusioned and then the romance may have never been given a chance. in the end thnk about what do you have to lose? he tells you he just wants to be friends than that cool, but what if he tells you he likes you too, wouldnt that be awesome? take a chance, it could be worth it. if he says no very meanly, then he wasn't worth it, not even as a friend cause that means he wasnt a real friend, and it shouldn't be awkward although i can understand why it would be, if he reallly cares, it'll be alright no matter what happens..God Bless.=)

wait it out don't ask him, it will freak him out.
You can however if you'd like drop a little hints, but if he seems awkward then stop right away!
You can also ask one of your friends to ask him for you. Just tell them to ask this guy if he likes you. That's an easy way to handle it.
But make sure that what they ask doesn't lead back to you.
