I have all day with my daughter and I want to do something fun together. It may seem like something that parents do every weekend but not for me. I work swing shift from 2:30pm to 11pm. My 6 yr. old daughter goes to school from 8am to 2:40pm so I dont see her during the days I work except for when i wake her up and get her ready for school. My days off are during the week so I do spend two afternoons/evenings with her out of the week. She spends weekends with her dad. For some wierd freakish mistake I am actually going to have this next Saturday off, even better, my daughter will be with me too! Im looking forward to it, and since this NEVER happens that I have a whole day to spend with her, I want to make the most I can out of this day. Does anyone have any suggestions on what we can do together? I dont want to spend the day just watching TV with her. And I thought about going to the park, but when we have done that she goes off and plays on her own while i sit on a bench.

Well you do love her, right? Of course! So you do want to make this memorable and make it special for you both to remeber. Well first start off with the both of you cooking breakfast. Then play somethinglike tag or hide and go seek, then take her to the mall, go out for luch at a food court (Micky D's) and then go shopping, see a movie, go back home, back something, read a book, bake something and then play with her (all little girls love it when their mothers play with them!) and then have a special that she helped you make. Then play some more, read a bedtime story. --You should try to take a couple more days off to spend time with her. She is your pride and joy and you deserve more time with her!-- Good Luck! Oooh... what fun!
Here are a few ideas:
*Go to the zoo
*Give each other "make-overs" (let her put make up on you!)
*Take her to the library and let her check out her own books (and then read them with her)
*Have a "game day" (let her choose what board games to play)
*Go to the mall
*Go out to eat a restaurant
*Cook or bake something together

Baking is always fun and she will remeber it. Make something fun or do some crafts. My daughter has gotten into scrapbooking with me. You can place your photos in an album you created together and will always treasure.

HAHA! Thats feckin' humorous! My boyfriend likes to keep money, so we are sitting at domicile eating beer that doesnt value 3.00 a can and eating junk nutrition!! :) So, in actuality, for him that is too keep money, and he additionally hates human beings!! :) For me?? I so wish i replaced into out partying extraordinary now!!! i haven't long previous out in a even as, and that i kinda miss the bar scene! Our plans for something of the nighttime?? Watch SNL!! and drink greater beer!!!
