Like others have said - toothpaste. I have better success with white toothpastes, especially traditional colgate.

eye drops work really well to get rid of the redness. If you want to get rid of it you can use tooth paste beacuse there is this thing in it that drys it up, don't use too much it could make your face dry. clearasil vanishing cream covers it up while at the same time gets rid of it. Heres what you can do to also get rid of them I got this from a beauty book it really works:
1 put a little bit of cleanser to damp or wet skin make sure the cleanser has no mineral oil.
2 smooth the cleanser on your entire face and neck in cirular motions don't rub too hard or you might cuase irritation.
don't use a wash cloth
3 rinse your face twice with warm water and blot dry
4 spritz with toner without acohol
5 apply a light weight moisture in skin
I hope that my advice ( and the books) helps you. :)

Well, to initially cover it up you should use green concealer, believe it or not. Because green is a complimentary color to red it mutes out the red. You can find it at walmart. I can't remember which brand of cosmetics sells it. I have a sister in law that...don't laugh...swears to the use of preparation H on zits. She says that they practically shrink overnight. I have not tried that part myself though. I have used green concealer and then put regular color over that and it seems to hide very well. BTW...yellow concealer is very good at hiding dark circles under your eyes.

To temporarily reduce the red, squirt some Visine on the spot.
To reduce redness, Saturate a cotton ball with Visine and hold it on the blemish for 2 minutes or more.

Pop it. Wash w/witch hazel. Then rub an ice cube on it to reduce swelling and redness. Results are immediate. Preparation H reduces swelling also, not sure about redness.

wet a small cotton ball with water and salt mixture and place it on the blemish for a few minutes. then dab on some pexolineperoxde to lower the swelling. if it stll doesn't work, concealer is always good.
