I've had dogs all my life, but I just got a new Golden Retriever puppy 1 1/2 weeks ago. She's amazing! She learns things at the drop of a hat and then continues to recall them day after day! Maybe its just because I love her so much, but I needed to tell everyone how great she is!!! :)

I did the same thing. My dog is consistantly fascinating to me. She's not just a mutt, but the best gosh darn mutt ever! Anyone who's ever loved a dog will understand. I'm happy for you and your little puppy, too.

Aww, your perfect pup should meet my Rusty, also a golden retriever. (whats her name?)
Goldens are really great dogs! Every day mine makes me laugh. Take lots of pics because before you know it she will be twice the size she is now.

Its hard to not think your puppy is the best and the smartest. They learn so incredibly fast and are wildly cute and funny.
