why do some people think that Mexicans are the only illegal immigrants in the U.S.?

seriously, do they forget that it's not only the mexican's who come in illegally, it's also the russians, chinese, indians...ect.

all i hear people say "it the Mexican's fault..blah blah".

I have asked the same question a few times already but I get no reasonable answer for it. It is just like saying that all white people are racist... its not all of them, but most of them... wouldn't it be a good example if they are going by majority? Watch me get thumbs down for this answer. Like I have said before, they can't take the HEAT and refuse to recieve exactly what they give. IMO.

Because illegal immigration is primarily a Mexican border problem and the majority of illegal immigrants are from Mexico. Attention can only be given to a slightly variable number of issues at one time; since Mexican illegal immigrants make up a larger number than Polish illegal immigrants, guess which issue gets the most attention!

Hey,, We know that the illegal Mexicans are not the only ones here illegally. But I bet you they are the largest population of illegals here in the USA. And they are the ones that are always calling the American people racist and everything negative about us. Have you heard?

People dont think that but Mexicans come up because they are the largest number of any illegals in the USA..............if you take the Mexicans out of the equyation then the bigger issue is solved and it would be easy to deal with the rest of the illegals.

I live in Arizona and here ,the illegals are 99% Mexican and 1% OTM,according to the published Border Patrol numbers for arrests and deportation.Of course people know there are other illegal aliens .But with the marching and desecration of the American flag,they are the most visible and most vocal.Sometimes keeping a low profile is a good thing.I am anti illegal alien,because I see first hand the cost to my city and state for their"cheap labor"
and frankly my state cant afford any more.
The low educational attainment of many immigrants and resulting low wages are the primary reasons so many live in poverty, use welfare programs, or lack health insurance, not their legal status or an unwillingness to work.

There are many different races of illegals - Mexico is getting the most attention due to the fact when the American people wanted tighter national security the media found an easy diversion " the poor Mexican worker" or the "starving Mexican that is impoverished at home".
Now it is no longer a matter of national security - the media has turned it into the racist Americans want to keep the Mexicans out.

I am against illegal immigration that is "all"
people - green , yellow , red . orange, white , tan .etc that do not come to this country by legal means.

Personally, I know it's NOT just illegal Hispanics/Mexicans/Hondurans/Latinos, etc.. I know there are very FEW persons who come here illegally from other countries. However, the Spanish/Mexican population makes up for about 90% of the problem.

Thats because they make up the majority of illegal immigrants coming in, but you can bet that if the majority were one of the other nationalities you mentioned it would be taken out on them as well. Of course, it is because Mexico is a border country that they are the majority coming in.

Mexican illegal immigrants comprise most of the illegal population in the US. Without the problem from Mexico I doubt anyone would really notice.

The other groups aren't pretending they're right, or victimized, or otherwise "owed" a place in the country. They know that it's stupid to act that way and likely to backfire.

They kept quiet, and a lot of them wished the illegal Mexican immigrants (as well as many of the legal immigrants who deserve to be here) would have kept their mouths shut and let it all blow over.

Instead, they actually started to believe the nonsense some liberals were spouting and acted on it, protesting where they should have realized they weren't owed something in the first place and had taken it illegally.

I lived most of my life with legal immigrants from all over the world. We need them.

We don't need people who break our laws, as you say, of ANY nationality. Kick them all out. Open the doors to the honest ones who follow our laws and don't think their owed things that WE DON'T OWE THEM!
