The only type of recognized Chihuahua is simply the Chihuahua.
There is no subgroup of "T-cup"
http://www.chihuahuaclubofamerica.com/teacup.htm
Given that price, you best option is to adopt an adult from the Chihuahua Breed Rescue.
http://www.chihuahuaclubofamerica.com/rescue.htm
They have rescue volunteers all ove the country. COntact the one closest to you and they can put you in touch with the Rescue volunteer workers closest to you.
Do give serious thought to adopting from an adult from a breed rescue. The clubs' breed rescues go to a great deal of trouble to determine the dog's temperament, personality, likes and dislikes (particularly kids and cats and other dogs in the household), health, and level of training. They make a huge effort to match the right dog to the right home - and if they don't have one they think will be suitable for your home, they won't place it. Great way to avoid the puppy training, newspapers, chewing.......They have dogs that are purebred and part-bred (1/2 or so of their breed.) Dogs that come through rescue are so thrilled to have a forever loving home having once been abandoned to a shelter or rescue that they are typically extra devoted and loving. Dogs lose their homes for reason that are not their fault: death, divorce, a move and they couldn’t keep them, financial problems….
For $200 or less you are simply not going to get a healthy puppy whose parents have been xrayed and tested to make sure they are free of detectable hereditary defects. For that price, the "breeder" would barely have made sure the dam was fed. Doubtful that they had the puppies checked after ibirth by a vet or that they have paid for the puppies to have their initial shots and wormings. They most certainly did not do the test for hereditary defects.
In Chihuahua's over 33% whose owner/breeders care enough to screen for such problems have LEGG-CALVE-PERTHES - a hip malformation that causes early arthritis and often requires surgery. A dog can have it and just not (yet) be showing the symptoms. Only way to tell is Xrays. The rate of LEGG-CALVE-PERTHES among dogs whose breeders don't bother to test and screen is 1 1/2 -2 times higher.
Basically it is get a cheap puppy from a backyard breeder and pay a LOT of vet bills later; save your money and get a puppy from a responsible reliable breeder; or adopt an adult from Breed Rescue who has evaluated them for health and who are of an aeg where the most conditions can be detected - particularly LEGG-CALVE-PERTHES

To "Q & a guy": Your argument isn't very valid. while a female has conceived a new child, the baby, needless to say, isn't at present completely grown. It starts off as a fetus with out all the actual systems which you will possibly see in a human. additionally, even while the new child is born, it maintains to advance. the new child even finally ends up with extra bones than it as quickly as had; particular purposes of an toddler's concepts get weaker as they grow previous too using fact they finally end up being out of date. As we advance, our cells continuously multiply inflicting us to get extra effective in length, so the thought that all of us started from a single celled organism isn't too some distance fetched. to no longer point out, various microorganisms that reason ailment evolve as our medicine gets extra progressed. it incredibly is all on the subject of the organism adapting so as that it incredibly is earlier than the recreation and insure the continuation of the species. EDIT: yet another element that I forgot to point is that our "layout" isn't even suitable. we are in probability of mutations and ailments. additionally some factors of the physique are not incredibly needed; there are some issues that our bodies can no longer needless to say recover from besides. Now to the question: the only area of the 'God concept' that seems existence like is the "permit there be mild" element. perhaps this replaced into probably the great bang. perhaps this universe replaced into created by twist of fate by capacity of a few smart beings or some organic going on phenomenon. possibly it's going to take place returned. the belief of an all-powerful being has in basic terms progressed with mankind by way of the years to describe what could no longer be defined. Even now while we will not clarify some thing we associate it with issues that we are already conscious of.

GET THIS PEOPLE!!! T-CUPS AND MINI CHIHUAHUAS AREN'T REAL!! THEY'RE JUST "RUNTS"...R-U-N-T-S! RUNTS!!! Since they are so small, they are more likely to be unhealthy and can get sick easier. Since the people who sell them claim that they are teacups of minis, they jack up the price wwwwaaaayyyy high. You should just look for a small dog- but make sure that BOTH of the parents are really small and healthy. OK? If you want a really good bargin $350 is a good price...That's about how much mine cost and she is small and healthy and playful!
I went to my friends for a bike ride and this lady had a "teacup chihuahua". She said that it was really a teacup (w/e)...it's not true though. SO everyone out there! Chihuahuas are CHIHUAHUAS...NO TEACUPS OR MINIS.
take my advice...

Where will I start?????
There is NO such breed as a TEACUP Chihuahua. There are Toy .......... but no Teacup ................ .
GET OVER THE TINY LITTLE DOGS THAT YOU CAN HOLD IN YOUR HANDBAG!!! DO YOUR HOMEWORK ON HOW FRAGILE THESE DOGS ARE.
You will not find any breed of small dog for under $650 from a professional (hobby) breeder.
Do you understand how FRAGILE 'Teacup' Chihuahua's are? If you are holding one in your arms and it decided to jump out of your arms onto the floor, IT CAN DIE.
Go buy yourself a mouse or a goldfish. Not something you want as an accessory.
Get a LIFE and stop acting like a Paris Hilton Dog Lover.
You girls are just pathetic. Don't care about the dog that you are getting, just want it as a fashion accessory to show your girlfriends how cool you look with this tiny dog hanging out in your handbag!!!!

Chihuahuas are not cheap. Chihuahuas belong to the toy group, not a teacup group. Very tiny chihuahuas are often small because they and the mother were malnourished to keep them small, and it affects their health for the rest of their lives. Find a reputable breeder, not one who promises teacup chihuahuas, and buy a pup from them. You will love the chihuahua whether it is 2 lb or 8 lb, won't you?

Not gonna happen. The smaller the dog the higher the price... and the bigger the vet bills too.
