They probably aren't especially serious about it, they're only 13 or 14. It's all part of the growing experiences.
It depends on the 13 or 14 year-old. Some are ready, many aren't. If they're sticking to public areas and generally innocent sorts of things, it's ok. It's even better if they more or less stick to small groups.

13 is too young to date. I don't think it's the right age to be able to judge when a guy is playing you. Plus, those relationships often last like a week and by the end of it everyone in school is lying about you saying you did things that you didn't do.

well yes and no, to date i dont think so i started to date when i was 13 and nothing really went wrong, but it really depends on how old the person your dating is because they could want more than your ready for which may put you into a bad position

Yes I think it is too young to date. I wasn't allowed to date until I was 16 and I won't let my daughters date until they are 16 either.I know some parents let their kids date at that age, and that is their choice, but I would rather my children waited til later

Yea! Save that stuff for later, enjoy group dating when you're that young but believe me, you get started now and you'll be jaded by the time you're 16 (youch!)

Yes, much too young. You've still got alot of growing up to do. Don't worry about dating. Be a kid. Have some fun before the real headaches kick in.

YES i think its too young, because if he was older he would be working & earning money to take you out, but if you were older as well you would have a job & then will have money yourself to by nice things to wear when he takes you out,

13 and 14 it isn't exactly love, and dating usually consists of holding hands, woo, but thats when I got my first girlfriend so I really can't argue with results
