I am in pretty decent shape, but wanna tone up more. I don't have much i could lose, so I'm wondering what is the easiest and most efficient way to go about it?

I work out about three days a week: I do about 25 minutes of jogging, crunches and light weights. It's the simplest and it fits with my schedule, but I'm willing to try other things.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Go to a local gym and talk to a trainer there. They can help you create a customized workout plan to achieve your goals.

If you don't have much to lose (let's say 10 lb), you won't lose it in 2 weeks, but 4 weeks is a good bet.

You'll have better results from your work out if you add more intense cardio for longer periods, or break it up into 2-3 shorter workouts each day.

Jogging for 15 minutes at your weight (let's say 145) only burns 138 calories. You need to burn 3500 calories to lose just 1 pound.

Crunches & light weights at 145 lb for 15 minutes only burns 52 calories.

Strength training and cardio workouts are becoming popular and people enjoy the variety of them. Try pilates workouts at your local gym. Most of them have a class like that. If you would rather do it in the comfort of your own home then you could purchase a workout. Target, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Sears, JCPenney and most video stores sell workout DVDs. If you don't want to go that route If you have a digital cable system look up some programs. Comcast digital cable has a whole free section devoted to health and fitness. Resistance bands are also a new and fun way to work you out. It does work nicely. I know it has helped me improve my physique. Have fun.
