I think jesus happen to be a very evolved soul and he had the power that no other human had during his time. He could heal people yes, but that dosen't mean he is the son of God. The reason why the catholic church doubted him, was that he could have never be the messiah, since god can't have kids, he is just energy. It's like someone in our modern day happen to have the power to heal people (this has been recorded), they proclaim themselves god and get them some followers and tell everyone they are the son of Allah....or some other mayor religous figure reincarnated.

First of all, luminary, the Catholic Church **NEVER** doubted Christ Is the Son Of God. The Catholic Church is the oldest & largest denomination of the Christian faith.

I think you must be mixing Catholicism up with either Judaism or Islam.

Moreover, the Catholic Church--as does Christianity as a whole--teaches that we are all God's kids. Judaism also teaches this, as do most religions(with the exception of Islam). That is why we call God 'Father.'

Christ Is the Son Of God, because He Is God's Only Begotten Son. Christ Pre-existed His Incarnation, & is the Second Person Of the Trinity(3 Persons in the One Godhead).

Yes, I as a Catholic, believe Jesus Christ Is the Son Of God, & its not just because of His Numerous Healings. It is because Of His Virgin Birth, His Bodily Resurrection From the Dead, & because of the fact that Our Father Himself Declared Christ His Son, first during His Baptism by St. John in the wilderness(its in all 4 Gospels), & at the Transfiguration(in the Synoptic Gospels).

First, you are correct in thinking that the power to heal is contained within other people. A well known historical figure that had that power was Grigory Rasputin, known as the Mad Monk of Russia. He often healed the heir to the Russian Imperial throne and this has been well documented.

Once I asked a similar question about Jesus and to be honest did not completely understand the answers. With Jesus it has something to do with the holy spirit entering Mary. But somehow the human husband of Mary, Joseph wa also involved. Maybe Joseph was the sperm donor but Jesus' real father was god. I'm sure someone will answer your question and give you a satisfactory religious answer.

It's too bad that if Jesus was the Messiah as is claimed he didn't stick around to finish the job. His death did nothing to allay the centuries of human misery that followed and is still with us today.

Absolutely-

If God can speak the universe into existence, he can speak a woman pregnant.
When the angel told Mary she would conceive, she believed what God had ordained, and it happened.
How do you think all these Christians get "born again"? They believe the word God said about salvation and they become new creations.
Yes, many fake it, but they are only fooling themselves and a few people down here.
Yes Jesus is the son of God.

First the Catholic Church never doubted the deity of Jesus. second he was much more than a healer. Jesus was prophesied to come from the house of David. from a virgin birth. He shall be called God with us. Jesus healed the sick lame and deaf and blind and forgave sins...Jesus walked on water changed water into wine. Jesus calmed the seas and raised the dead. Jesus died for mans sins as atonement for the sins of his people. Jesus was resurrected from death. Jesus called himself the son of God. Jesus taught that no one came to the father except through the son. God said I am that I am. Jesus said before Abraham was I am. Jesus said if you had know the father you would have known him and Jesus said that those that knew him knew the father and had seen him. Abraham said God will provide himself a lamb. Jesus was that lamb of god who atoned for the sins of all who accept that atonement,no man can forgive sin? no man can have power over death. no man can atone for the sins of others. what ordinary man could do this? What man would his disciples be tortured and die rather than deny? Jesus was the son of God and Jesus was God with us and Jesus was resurrected. it is by his power that we who believe will be resurected.the law was brought to man by moses and man could not be perfect and live up to the law. Jesus overcame temptation lived a perfect life and died as the perfect lamb of god.

Like when we say the Sign Of The Cross, We say Jesus is God's Son, but He was actually Part of God, Like Eve was from the Rib of Adam. And still he is the Son and Right Hand Of God. He also Isn't the Son of Allah, You have broken the 1st Commandment.

The thing is, Jesus never actually said He was the Messiah, nor did He ever claim to be the Son of God. However, there are many people in the New Testament who proclaimed it of Him. "Truly, You are the Son of God", "Truly You are the Christ", etc.

He didn't have to say a word about it, the evidence was obvious to everyone, including Caeser.

Yes, without a doubt.

John 17:11
I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name—the name you gave me—so that they may be one as we are one.

Matthew 17:1-5
1After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves.

2There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light. 3Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus.

4Peter said to Jesus, "Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you wish, I will put up three shelters—one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah."

5While he was still speaking, a bright cloud enveloped them, and a voice from the cloud said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!"

John:17:1-5
1After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed: "Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you. 2For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him. 3Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. 4I have brought you glory on earth by completing the work you gave me to do. 5And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began.

Matthew 10:33
But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

1 John 2:22
Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

1 John 4:3
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
