Why do men say that women trap them with pregnancies?

I am just really curious as to why men always use the lame excuse and say that women trapped them with babies. It' s really ridiculous, and I hear it all the time. It is so common on talk shows such as Maury, Jerry Springer, in life. I can also say that in the past I had an ignorant *** man say that I trapped him. How ridiculous! I think he trapped me with all those lies! That was many years ago, but I was just wondering. But really I think they do it as a way to dismiss thei responsiblity from parenthood, and to soothe their guilt. Men have been blaming women since back in the day in the Garden of Eden. How do you raise sons to be responsible and to respect women's bodies?

I think they use that excuse to look like they are a victim, but who are they fooling? It's the responsibility of the male and female to protect themselves if they don't desire children. Why is it that when we give them the news of the new baby they all of a sudden ask, are you sure its mine? and my all time favorite: Why didnt you protect yourself? I mean they think that we are the ones that have to use protection , why not them? And then they think that we want to tie them down by having their kid. Its just an excuse they use to make it seem like we planned that and they shouldnt have to be responsible for the kid and I'm sick of it. If they dont want kids then they should stop screwing around.

The first one I like - if the Sperm Bank did it right, they would test the donor for some hidden disease or flawed sperm, which would cut down on kids born with disabilities. Women don't trap men with accidental pregnancies! It takes two to make a baby, and without men, there would be no accidents! There is only one sure way for a woman to NOT get pregnant, and that's for both of them to stay the hell away from each other!! Donated sperm doesn't always work, so what happens if the Bank looses the donation? There would be no way to go back and collect more!

First, "MEN" don't ALWAYS use it as an excuse. Yes, some/many males do. Just as All "Women" don't entrap a man with babies but a lot of females do.
Many females for many reasons do entrap men into/with unwanted pregnancies. Many don't even know who the father is and blame it on anyone or the whom they think is the most qualified. Some are motivated more for money these days where as years/generations ago it was for marriage.
I have known females who have done that and not only admitted it but admitted planning it.
Females have stopped taking their BC pills on purpose and other tricks. And it is true often it is not planned. But I feel that every females that does get pregnant consciously or unconsciously wants to get PG. Accept for rape of course.
Bottom line is a man could not get "trapped" even if she swore up and down she is on the pill, if he uses a condom. If he is to lazy or greedy or irresponsible to rap it up he deserves to be trapped.
If both are responsible there wouldn't be pregnancies because both would insist on using a condom AND her pill. The main reason is if they both are concerned about not catching/transmitting a STD the condom would be a no brainer.

Watch TV those crazy soap operas are always having a girl get pregnant while in her head thinking this will get the guy. Some women do use it. My sister-in-law told my brother she was on the shot. He's to blame too; he knew about using protection. He did the right thing. They have been together for 13 years. I got pregnant twice while on the pill and was accused of trying to trap the man. I didn't have either child and got rid of both men.

The fact of the matter is some women do intentionally get pregnant to GET a man! Very sad, but true. Men and women should not be out there having sex if they aren't married. It takes two to have a baby. If he isn't willing to marry a woman, she should NOT being having sex with him.
There is NO 100% safe birth control. I used to know a man that said he got 9 children trying not to have any and he wondered what would have happened if he had tried to have to children. Men are going to press for sex (it is their nature--they are NOT the ones having the baby. They bodies don't change and they don't have to carry the baby inside them.). The women HAVE to learn to say NO and mean it, unless the man is willing to be responsible and marry her before they have sex!

To answer your question: You should raise not just sons, but daughters, too, who are willing to respect their own bodies and say "NO" loud and clear until they marry and teach them to respect life and all of life's responsibilities which includes their reproduction.

i like your questions. it gets me wondering too . i remember one time on Maury when a man claimed he was not the babys father because he had sex with the woman when he ws drunk and she was a whore! imagine such stupidity.

i think men are just cowards and most men are boys in all aspects except sex. they dont want to be responsible and as usual are in denial of something they took part in willingfully.

Because some women do use pregnancy as a trap. It is wrong and an awful thing to do, but if you raise a son to respect women then they should not end up in that situation.

I always use rubbers because I don't want to die from being sick and I don't want kids.

One girl that was really sort of obsessive poked holes with a pin in my rubber. When it burst open she's was like "no, no, it's ok. I like to feel it when guys *** inside!" I tried to shake her off and she was like clamped on and wouldn't stop grinding. I managed to twist my body so that I pulled out. She got furious and we got into an argument in which she admitted she wanted to try to have a kid so that I would always be in her life.

Not eveyone is like this. But it happens. If it happens cuz the guy is too stupid to put on a rubber, yeah, it's a lame way to blame the girl for his own idiocy.

They want to avoid all responsibilty. Hello if you don't want a baby, wear a rubber! Men like that make me sick. It's like they are justifying being deadbeats, and losers. I think men want to avoid the whole issue all together. And the number of guys who seem to think that BC is all the woman's reponsiblity, ahh don't get me started grrrr.....
