when you saw this? Is a worse disembling than "I didn't inhale"?

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) _ The Rev. Ted Haggard said Friday he bought methamphetamine and received a massage from a male prostitute. But the influential Christian evangelist insisted he threw the drugs away and never had sex with the man.

I just shook my head because I had been seeing so many local preachers running off with the church and their money. I have been laughing a lot lately.

I actually DID laugh out loud when I heard about this a few hours ago. My coworkers now think I'm nuts.

...and for anyone who's carrying false assumptions, Haggard didn't make these comments in order to admit his sins and repent. He made the comments because the prostitute in question broke the story to a local radio station in Colorado. He told the press that he decided to release the story because Haggard preached so strongly against gay marriage.

Christmas came 2 months early for the Democrats!! There is dancing in the streets. He needs to do a quick Jimmy Swaggert and let the tears flow in front of that congregation.

yeah, it's pretty pathetic. I read somewhere he said he bought them because he was curious but threw them away before trying them. PLEASE! If he's such a great man of God, why would he even THINK of trying drugs?

And I'd just love to know if Haggard's wife knew that he was getting regular "massages" from this guy who just happens to be a male prostitute.

He's done for.

This news didn't get to the UK. It's hilarious seeing these pious idiots fall and trying to sell a bill of goods to their sheep, er, congregation. He's just another slimeball in the same vein as Swaggart and Bakker. Phooey on them all.

Not a laughing matter. There are millions of people around our country tonight that don't know what to think or do. I am not a Christian, but I respect their feelings, and wish them well.

You see the difference between you unbelieving atheists and REAL Christians, (and I do NOT profess to have a clue what is inside this Rev. Haggard's heart, or not), is that when one SINNER repents, we rejoice, but when one possible hypocrite does something publicly you try to smear us all! Well, I say, keep trying! I trust in my Lord Jesus, and in Him I Am NOT ASHAMED!

AMEN
